X-Windows surely preceded Microsoft Windows, but "X-Windows" was not a common household word.
As for the rest, Microsoft has good lawyers....'nuff said.
In any case, Microsoft forced their parent company to spend money, and I don't think the case is discussed much outside of the tech community, so Microsoft most likely got what they wanted anyways.
Their prices are outrageous.....I mean look at this! WHAT A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT! WHO THE HELL WOULD PAY $35 (plus s/h) FOR IT?!
Also, their t-shirts are lame!!
chmod -R linux:users/world?? HOW FUCKING LAME
Who the hell wants to wear a t-shirt that says "LAN PARTY" on it?!
Or "bow before me, for I am root." WHO THE HELL THINKS THAT IS FUNNY????
Why the fuck would I want to buy a plain black t-shirt for 15 fucking bucks (plus s/h) that says "127.0.0.1" on it??? Just fucking to to walmart and buy a plain fucking black t-shirt!!
In conclusion, ThinkGeek is for "31337 k1dd135" and other idiots.
I'm suprised that nearly nobody has carried the story of the brown reaserchers who put a microchip into a monkey's brain which allowed them to control a computer mouse by thinking
They first played a game with a joystick, then played the same game controlling it with their mind, and they got about the same score both ways
This data is not very accurate at all! Look at the amount of people they interviewed: 148 in the previous survey and 700 in the next?
They don't even say that they conducted them the same way! The way they conduct the survey could get the trust of the person, or not, which would change the results of the poll, as it is based on the amount of people who admitted to using warez

You arent going to get a very fair comparison from slashdot. The best thing to do would probably do more research into it yourself
You're right! damn it!

It's a hard joke to get, but when you get it, you will know you got it

Wait...godzilla wins automatically, as mozilla sucks
Shouldnt Mandrake, as a company, be making money, instead of asking it's users for it? It's going to rid all investors of confidence in the business.
I mean come on a company is asking it's users for money!

I, for one, would like to see slashdot disappear if kuro5hin could take it's place.
