I think head tracking is better than eye tracking for this. I would want to be able to look at the corners of my screen without the mouse pointer moving there. It should be a deliberate motion causing the pointer to move. Imagine playing Quake and when you look at your health bar, your view goes spiraling around. Head tracking is much better
I have a good friend who is a Witness and he explained to me that he believes only a few will make it into Heaven (I think he used the 27,000 figure, but I'm not sure). He said that Heaven was already "full" and that the rest of the good ones will live in Paradise here on Earth after the Armageddon.
As far as not making friends outside of the Witnesses or pursuing an education that is not true (at least not for him). He has many friends outside of their network. His parents are Catholic and he did not convert until he was 16. He is planning to attend law school so that he can volunteer as a lawyer for the Witnesses. He also explained to me that they don't vote because Jehova is the only true leader, and voting for a president is a vote against God.
Keep in mind, I don't agree with any of this stuff, but that is the way he explained it to me.
I would still be waiting about 8 seconds, because, it takes longer than 3 seconds for my monitor to warm up.

What I couldm't figure was why cutting his face off would confine him to a wheelchair? I didn't see anything about other injuries so why was the rest of his body messed up too?
This story prompted me to read through Earthlink's TOS since that is my ISP. On http://www.earthlink.com/about/policies/aupolicy.h tml it says "Pinging is expressly prohibited." Well I guess I've violated that one a few million times.
