I am only familiar with KDP, the royalty for which is 70% (unless for some reason you dont allow lending). I assume publishing houses agree on better deals, than KDP. So yeah, I would expect most money to go to authors (and publishers).
My college used to give out free bike helmets for taking taking a bike safety course. It is assumed that you had taken the course, and enforcement is pretty strict. A similar carrot and stick approach could work pretty much in any city.
Juice from Orange Concentrate(TM) or Apple Concentrate(TM), yes, should be banned. Regular unprocessed orange juice, nope.
Plus it easier to drink coke than orange juice. It is designed to appeal to you taste buds and to be able to drink pretty much unlimited amounts, unlike Orange/Apple juice.
Nokia maps is too integrated with MS products, it would be stupid of it to let it go to Apple. Bing, Yahoo Maps, maps on Windows phones (all windows phones, not just Nokia made one), Windows Navigation devices on major cars, all depend on Nokia maps.
Theoretically there is always a chance of a crash. I would expect the chances of crash to be less than human driven cars and would expect insurance to be way cheaper. But yes, the car would need insurance. And yes, it would be the cars fault, and insurance premium for all cars of the model would increase.
Because they originally announced that the order would not matter, and people took their time to submit proposals. It is like changing rules in the middle of the game.
Ok, let me rephrase that, I did not mean that he wants to ban corporate money in politics (or may be he does, I dont know, but that is not what I meant in my comment). He does not want corporate money to influence him and his decisions and he doesnt want to depend on corporate money for basically everything he does. Irrespective of your political views, I think it is a decent opinion to hold.
I rather thought ABC is a private business, so from a Libertarian point of view, I would think they could decide whatever they want as far as who to include on their own debate?
As a libertarian he would not support government intervention (though laws, FCC mandates, etc) in these debates, but as far I can see that is not what he is asking for.
Or, if you are not accepting corporate donations, why are you interested in going on a debate that is essentially sponsored by a corporation -- i.e. ABC -- and their advertisers?
He doesnt hate corporations (atleast thats my opinion of what he believes in). He hates corporate money in politics. There is a difference between the two.
I could make a more comfortable one I guess. Something that suits the way I hold toothbrushes, and one that conforms better to the shape of my fingers.
I suppose they can sue the district court for abusing their discretion. But I dont think it has tried before, and I would expect the district court and the judges to have some immunity from prosecution.
He is good speaker, no doubt. Connects with his audience. Debates are different though, thinking and speaking at the same time, does not come naturally for most people.

Press conference just started at 1:30 PST - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrIxH6DToXQ . Just in case anyone is still following.
Unless you buy books authored by the Amazon, most of it will go to the authors (and publishers).
Mod UP! Finally some sense in this thread.
Is the mass of the moon that conductive (unlike earth)?

Unless Microsoft calls Apples bluff, and drives up the price just to make Apple pay more for Nokia, than it is worth it.
What makes you think they dont already do that? They would be pretty stupid not to do that.

I agree with you on both points, I was just answering to GP's point about why he wants to be on the debate, run by ABC, funded by corporations.

This is a good point to discuss, but asking a lawyer about this in an interview is exactly what flamebait is.
We buy it. Seems more like a commentary on everyone.
In other news, your vegetables are all grown in feces too. ;)
No they are not. They are grown in composted feces (which kills most of the harmful bacteria), or in other words manure.
Both comments were modded down for some reason. Definitely not a accidental mod. Someone mod both the AC comments up!
He mentioned about the accident, but did not have time to go around to whether a drunk guy killed his wife or a sober one killed.
I sure do hope so.
