And it is funny that you should mention that US cannot inflate the currency to get rid of these notes. From what I understand from current policies, that is pretty much what US govt is currently doing.

And if there is one thing that really pisses of China, is affecting its economic interests. If you nullfy Treasurly bond, I would expect China to go on a full on war.

Why do you think Apple sacrificed usability? The fact is they did not switch to their own mapping data until they could offer something more usable.

Not agreeing to terms that would make the maps worse for users (like larger and more prominent logos that EVERY app developer has to rev an app to make sure they are not hiding) is not "sacrificing usability".

I guess it depends on whether you find navigation useful. If you did, then apple did sacrifice usability. If you did not, neither Apple nor Google did anything that affects you. So neither is evil.

I dont see Apple contribute to OSM so far

Why would they not want the data they are presenting to be more accurate? If Apple is using that data they will help improve it.

How should I know? Why are they not contributing to OSM again?

A simpler example would be multiple tests contributing credit to the same course (I feel this is more similar to Win7, Win8 than bachelors and doctorate). I am choosing a model, where I can give negative marks to a test, because it failed so bad. So when I sum these two tests, I get a zero. You may not agree with me that negatives marks can be awarded, but I would say its more like real world (Its like money. If I pay you do two paint jobs, you do the first one very well, and the second so bad that you damaged the walls or something; I would obviously reduce the money you would get for the first job).
