Why do we Quebecers tend to hate their own that make it?
Celine can actually sing, live, without recording engineering making he sound good. It's really easy to find people in the industry (who actually know what thney are talking about) praise her. If you don't like what she sings, then fine for you. But that doesn't mean that she's not extremely talented (and worked hard to get there too).
On the other hand, if a researcher changes the contrast of the whole image to make it easier to see the patterns they are drawing their conclusions from, then they can always claim they really didn't notice the other stuff. Essentially, researchers have to avoid doing things that prove that they were deliberately dishonest.
Don't discount the possibility that there was nothing else interesting to see either. Scientists are not all dishonest!

I agree with the parent and with prior replies to it.
It a great idea, but the implementation needs work. The links appear to be children of the main story above them. It would be better to disassociate them.
Hard to find a turntable to play old 45, 78, and 33 records. Getting harder to find cassette players. Many new PCs don't come with floppy drives. In 30 years, will you still be able to find a CD-ROM/DVD drive or will there be some other format? Don't throw away your old PC.
I'm pretty sure you'll have time to copy the data to some other medium (with a ratio of 100 CDs to one unit of whatever they make in ten years). Unlike copying an LP, you'll be making an exact copy.
What the hell...300,000 people are placing music CDs at work? No wonder our government gets nowhere - they are all busy listening to music and playing games.
For those few who don't know. Branden (often mispelled as Brandon:-) has historically been the Debian X developer (and has since built up a team to work on X) and is the current DPL (Debian Project Leader).
Wait for knoppix to appear on mirrors. I have wondering what kernel this Ubuntu release uses for the same reason (although I have 2.6.11 up and running and my Dell 4700's SATA drive now fly at >50MB/sec read rates).
It would be wiser for McBride to perpetuate the release of Open Source operating system vis-a-vis in order to accentuate the capability contained within them.
Huh?
We would have deployed several Linux server had it not been for the imminent threat of a potential SCO lawsuit for our consulting firm.
That might be true, might be a troll, or might be a plant to link to from a finance message board to push up the stock price. We'll never know since you post as AC.
I'm not an expert. I just happen to have a Nikon F90 and a bunch of lenses, inherited from my father. So the D70 seems like a way to use the lenses I already have.
But if shadows are so dark, why is the back-lit capsule not dark in the first picture?
I take issue with that description more than what the OS is being used for.
And it presumably adds cost to every missile even those enemies build, reducing the efficiency of their economy.
as well as reducing the efficiency of your economy.

Then you simply remove them all or re-code them all.
Can Debian really keep using release code-names from Toy Story now?
I mean, have you seen Janet Jackson lately !

Bah. I'll take a well made stereo recording over a mediocre multichannel recording any day.
Me too, for the most part. I get a better soundstage image on stereo anyway.
Multichannel formats such as SACD and DVD-A haven't taken off anyway.
CD's don't count as digital because they're technically analog. They store ones and zeros, but the machine that reads them is analog.
Did you mean for moderators to rate this as Funny?

Congratulations on the election Branden!

Right. It's not as if the much older project called XForms was listed anywhere either.
4239 * (12382 + 147324) + 2342
in RPN, you would type:
4239 [enter] 12382 [enter] 147324 [+] [*] 2342 [+]
I would do it in the same order as I would with pen and paper:
12382 [enter] 147324 [+] 4239 [*] 2342 [+]
The sub would be a good match for Klipschorn speakers or Klipsch's movie theater series.
But I guess they are competitors.
Great post.
This "free" deal has been advertised in Slashdot banners for months now!
As I read that, I looked up at the banner above your post to see... that same ad!

Is it worth the delay in the public posting the comments?
Yes, of course it is. Right to privacy should overrule anything else.
It's unfortunate that he doesn't feel the same way about documentation.
