Does anyone think its odd that you have NEVER seen the source code to other web browsers (or huge projects for that matter) that are commercial products? How do you know IE isn't 'slightly' buggy beta release with some fat on the sides? It disgusts me that a company works their ass off on a product and strives to make it open not only for their well being but for other open source projects (Gecko engine being seperate, etc).

Instead of sitting here and complaining about the release, go fix it. Ditto to all other 'this is a mistake' posts.

After checking these, 2 had C: shared and 1 had quicken and quickbook files openly avable for download. Don't be surprized - these results are average for cable networks.

Everybody knows about this cuecat junk, so I decide to see what the company webpage says. Anybody who has looked at this sees the link 'DigitalDemographics' on the left page. Either its just me, but this says that this company is collecting data from the parent companies to sell to advertisers. All the more reason not to use this (or install the software for it) - do we need another wanabe doubleclick?

Correct me if im wrong, but doesnt Microsoft have authenticy features for files in IE? Could this not be implanted in a useful way? This would allow any type of files to be digitally verrified.

Could that be implanted in games realisticly? I think if all the players have under 70ms lag it could be done (which is only a matter of time til we all have high bandwith connections).

Or, could it all be done on the client and have it say if there is a person behind the box, dont draw it at all on the screen (forget he is there). Of course there are flaws in this, and only the server can really be trusted.
