as right now most doctors won't communicate by any means but an office visit - no fax, no email, no direct phone calls, everything else goes through an assistant. Puzzling seeing how personal medicine is.
sign up with a solar lease for my house, flatten my mains bill for 20 years and THEN go buy a volt / leaf / pip / tesla? Or is this subject to the dreaded fine print?

Have chickens. Check out their feet. "Dinosaur" will indeed cross your mind.
but if I need those glasses for the rest of reality, wouldn't I need to take them off just for looking such a screen so that the glasses aren't duplicated (hence negating) what the screen cover does?
Cancel? I'd be happy of they could upgrade

the right way. THEY JUST ASKED ME TO PRINT THE EMAIL THEY SENT ME WITH THE AGREEMENT AND FAX IT TO THEM. Agreed to go $15 more for 50 more channels and 2x bandwidth. They upped the monthly by $30 and somehow doubled the first month. Bandwidth has not budged. They don't seem to understand that a written agreement needs to be honored.
alarm spider web thingies to protect what's left. They seem to attract really cool burglars like Catherine Zeta Jones, Antonio Banderas and that guy from Ocean's Twelve.
my wife had laser retina repairs a few years back, and after hearing the description of the procedure, I related that had I been sitting in the chair, there would then be me-shaped cartoon-like hole in the exam room wall. The mere description of LASIK and PRK is enough to make me lightheaded. It's just an eye thing. Pain I can take. $4,000 will buy me 20 pairs of glasses, and I ain't gonna live long enough to go through 20 pairs of glasses.
where SW has to work and most people will never exhaust all of what it does and uncover all the bugs. Too often people just figure (a) tech is hard and (2) i'm not a computer geek so there's no way I'll ever work this thing right anyway.
minimum wage is not about putting everyone at the current 80th %ile, it's about using diffuse market-collected money to make sure 20% of the people don't have to (a) starve or (b) mostly have the gummint pay for their stuff. I'm judged as a liberal by most people I meet, and even I don't want taxes paying for stuff the market can do if there is a workable alternative, which this seems to be. I'll take a law that creates a market condition over taxpayer largess. Why? The law sets a minimum that above which the market can adapt based on economic conditions. Taxes and handouts need constant tweaking by more laws and amendments.
wheat, soybeans, milk or eggs and eating same with your "bare hands and mouth". You think the line is drawn at fish?

(as I was going to say of course /. is immune from such pettiness...)
you get an iPad mini. Even Amazon figured this angle out. So this is not really surprising.
gets the cheese.
damn those were heady days. Substantive discussions. Thoughtful comments. My how things have degraded in just about any forum you care to pick.
IF ONLY they went after other rodents - they've cleared my lot of bugs, but they couldn't care less that there are voles about.

and I deal with the phone when I'm available to do so. In rare cases when I know a call is time sensitive I'll switch it on. Mail on 30 min check.

Actually, "in the engineering room" he sang a different tune: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/s...
delay is for "deep space missions" by which they really mean the other side of 100 million miles.
...next Wednesday between 2 and 5 PM. Does that work for you?
Send teenagers + smartphones. Mission control = their parents. No one will notice anything.
... on second thought, maybe her outrage (see her up against paparazzi) is just what Linus needs.
in the ginned-up outrage over the mis-typed code.

if you're going to use reality as an indicator. Who does that?
just that last one to turn out the light. At least for the mobile division.
