I kinda wish the reciepts mattered and increased the amount you would be rebated. If it did, I could get a list of all my purchases from my bank & credit card co. (I don't use cash much) & send them proof of purchase for all my CDs.
What I'd love to see is, MOM2, done like this. Same or very similar game engine & rules (i.e. still turn based combat), more spells, more creatures, more & different types of heroes, a 3D world & 3D battlefields, where you could actually see your minions fight, instead of just waving weapons at each other.
Speaking of ROTT, did you know the maker of that game has released the code under the GPL? I submitted it the other day but I guess it wasn't worthy... sniff..
Oddly enough, the ClearChannel (alternative) station where I live used to play a lot of local bands. I remember a few years ago when Limp Bizkit was a local band here (before they went to shit & Fred's head grew to the size of Texas). They'd also play semi-local acts from Gainesville, Orland & Tampa. Sevendust (I think), Less Than Jake, Cold, etc...
Now it's all gone to shit, of course, and you can't turn on the radio w/o hearing a ballad from Creed or the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Does anyone else here remember when they were a punk band?
