Since somewhere around 20% of the french people "is connected to the internet" (No i can't elaborate on that one, can't remember the source.. was some Swedish newspaper) and the interest for the internet is decreasing! ie. the amount of people planing to get some sort of internet conectivity within the next year decreased this year compaird to the last one.
Ofcourse the French intrest in English has been weak.. (eufemism) French are very protective of their language and their culture, and the predominetly english internet is thus iether a threat or unintressting.
So if your people is not very connected and not intressted its intressting to see how you make a democracy work online.
Ofcourse it might be an insentive to get people online.. but.. not as a sole factor..

I imagine that its some kind of cake or something like that, that contains
baking soda and lemonjuice.. I imagine it contains flour too tho it doesn't stat that in the article. Meaning theres alot of information on Swedish Lemon Angels that is not included in the article.
The interssting part about my post was pointing out that its acctually not swedish!. And another thing.. There isn't acctually a Swedish bikini team either.
If you want to register a.nu domain you can already use the some of these features. "Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, German, Spanish and other Western European language characters, such as å, ä, ö, ç and ñ."
And worldsnames.net also features Japanese characters, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Cyrillic.
Tho one of the nice "features" of the internet is the fact that you have the opportunity to reach a gobal public. Which is rather hard when you have country/language specific characters.

Tho Europe don't have the same type of chairity as the US I'm wondering if there is something to do in Europe? Anyone out there know of any chairity in Sweden? I want to help:)
I'm also very impressed with the BeOS GUI all tho my testing of it isn't very extensive. I find it fresh, with crisp colors, enlightening icons, and easy to use. And big plus to them for keeping the command line;) Which does get things done better/faster at times.
Well, as a girl i can only say that I have never been meet with anything then curiosity from fellow geeks. Its mostly salesmen in computer stores that show their preset mind: Girls couldn't possible know anything about computers. Recently I bought a new CPU-fan. And belive it or not the salesperson called his computer wiz over to make sure I got the right fan. As if I didn't know.. duhh.. I agree with some other guys, computer atracts a certain kind of person not gender.

And Sweden really don't produce that many pornmovies either. The US produce a lot more.
