Well, so far, we've had two category ones and 7 tropical storms. In early August, NOAA predicted 13-19 named storms, including 6-9 hurricanes, 3-5 of them major.[1]
so, expect a big pileup in October and November. Maybe even a storm to ring in the new year
Apparently, the quants have put their physics expertise to good use. Unfortunately for the rest of us, it's worth more as a trade secret than as a generally available technology.
You know what? I really love the sound of your voice.... And there's this one word. I've always loved the sound of this word.... I would really like to hear you say the word..."passport".
The mac 128k and 512k had proprietary de-9 ports for mouse, printer and modem and iirc, an Rj-11 port for the keyboard. The mac plus introduced the mini-din 8 ports for the modem/printer, which had the advantage of being small enough that the designers could squeeze in a db25 for SCSI though that miniature connection ended up being the cause of much SCSI voodoo. The proper connection for SCSI is huge.
At some point, apple started using the RS422 standard for serial. The printer port was rather fast (230kbs) and could be used for LocalTalk, a crude network interface. The. Mac SE and later macs used a miniDIN4 for the Apple Desktop bus, usually used for daisychaining a mouse to the keyboard, but other things such as joysticks (if you could find one) or dongles could be attached. Kind of like a slower, less exasperating version of SCSI. (I recall programming a gameSprocket driver for my. macAlly Joystick) Don't recall the exact details, but each device had an device id along the same lines as a USB manufacturer id/device Id.
the new gestures do not work if the tablet/phone is sheathed in a case such as the griffin survivor. These cases make it difficult or impossible to actually touch the pixels immediately adjacent to the bezel, and thus initiate the swipe.
Yeah, that's standard. If you aren't watching hulu on a PC, you have to pay for it. It's free on my mac, but my ipad and my Apple TV require a subscription.
This is probably a naive question, but the power supply seems to have a whole lot of glue holding the heat sinks in place in addition to the screws. How do I loosen the heat sinks, which at the very least hinder a visual inspection of the capacitors?
8mp camera? My camera is 14mp, and It was made in 2009. Nikon's latest seem to be in the 24 to 36 megapixel range--good enough for a 8k display, or more realistically,a large print.
My bluray player has a youtube client, but searching involves "texting" with the remote. I never could get the hang of it. My guess is that similarly ill-thought-out User Interfaces abound in smart tvs.
My bluray player encrypts its HDMI output wth hdcp. It is only by using a TV or monitor with HDCP that I'm able to use the bluray player's HDMI output. If I plug the monitor into a computer, it just acts like a plaintext DVI device.
Now you could argue that the availability of HDCP compatible displays makes HDCP players possible, but as far as I'm concerned, hdcp compatibility in the display just makes it more versatile.
I think you misunderstood the picture. The photographer didn't remove an IR filter. Instead, he attached. filter that blocks visible light but let's the IR through. T My tablet makes reading the EXIF data on that photo unnecessarily complicated, but it's probably a long exposure, befitting an essentially pitch black filter.
The Nokia does have a larger sensor than most camera phones, so it's not nearly as ridiculous as it seems. But. when compared to real cameras, the 808 falls short. I'm sure the 1020 is similar.
I'm looking forward to the Alpha port, though I'm also hearing good things about Itanium.

Ah. So as long as the Surface exists, Microsoft will have an excuse to slight iOS and Android.
In that case:
DIE, SURFACE, DIE!
Customers want something sexy, but they might settle for a two bit whore.
if that really matters....
one note for ipad
Don't care about Excel, but OneNote is why I'd buy it
Also available for ipad
and
android phone
The cops will have copies of all 10 fingers, and will be able to add this technique to their fourth and fifth amendment circumvention strategies.

I don't have a lifeproof case, but they look like they cover the bezel. Might make swiping difficult.

I'm not sure where the Chromecast fits in.
Integrate geoguessr into the curriculum. Problem solved.
What a peculiar turn of phrase.

Practically free? You have to buy four more speakers, and run wire inside the walls.

1080i consists of two 1920x540 fields, not 960x1080, unless it's a set-specific kludge.
Laptop screens often have horrible off axis characteristics. They aren't really designed to be viewed by more than or person at once,
