Well, considering that the man in charge of this project IS a criminal who got off on a retarded technicality and served no time whatsoever. For selling weapons and lying to congress about it, no less. His past actions show that he considers himself above the law, is that really that the sort person that we would want in connected with a database like this in any way, shape or form?

I think I would have to argue that broadcasting something over the air like free radio does is a public performance. The number of people listening to any single receiver should be immaterial. They will all still hear whatever ads are being aired to pay for the broadcast. This simply comes down to greed. These companies and organizations can't stand the fact that out there somewhere, someone might be making a buck without them getting a cut.

That has got to be one of the most moronic laws I've ever heard of. Sounds like your state has a serious case of over-legislation. Just a few goosesteps to barcoding the residents, I guess.

You should just be able to pull out you old video card and replace it with a new one. The procedure is faily simple, on par with adding new ram. The dual 450 has a 2X agp slot so you're good there. Check out http://www.xlr8yourmac.com for more info on upgrades.

While you can get by in OS 10 with a single button mouse, the contextual menus are being used more and more. It is possible to use the control key as a modifier to get at these but it is a bit awkward. Having used multibutton mouse for quite some time now I find myself handicapped when I'm on systems with a single button mouse. It's the first modification I suggest to every mac user.

-When cars started driving down the roads that horse riders built, did the breeders get upset and try to ban the automobile?- Yes they did in a matter of speaking. Many cities and towns passed laws making it harder to use auto. Like requiring someone to walk in front of the vehicle carrying a light. One law specified that cars had to be pulled over and covered with a tarp to hide it from horses coming from the opposite direction. Just don't scare the aminals..........

  13. Re:Global Warming is a Crock on Humanity's Contribution To "Global Warming" · · Score: 1

According to some polar shift theories the reason that there are no longer glaciers in North Dakota (and elsewhere) is not just because of global warming. Put simply, the poles are't where they used to be. Take Siberia for instance. Today it's one of the coldest places on the planet, but during the last ice age it had a temperate climate. Hmmm...... Alaska? Same there. During the last ice age, the north pole was somewhere in Hudson Bay I think. Putting it a lot closer to North Dakota. About 2000 miles if I remember correctly. At the risk of making a generalized comment, anyone who thinks that we have not had an effect on the global temperature is being foolishly nearsighted.
