True, but not so if it's an issue regarding National Security, and given the court's recent stance on cyberterrorism being "an act of war", they could very easily manipulate this to be such a case so they won't have to immediately disclose anything.
What I don't get is why is this shit always publicized? Instead of waving their dicks around every time a dumb fuck is caught, it'd make more sense to use that caught individual to provide new leads, and catch as many as possible before the rest of the organization goes further into hiding. Seems to me they're doing it purely for PR, rather than because it's their damn job.
I seriously doubt there are 32 members of Anonymous's inner circle tied to the hacks, much less all in Turkey. Chance are they detained/b/tards that are guilty of nothing more than posting pony threads and trolling, thinking all of Anonymous knows anything about hacking.
And judging by the pics on the site, I doubt it's even legit.
Sounds like splitting hairs to me. Give me a reason posting information regarding making bombs should be legal other than principle, and I'd be more inclined to agree. Otherwise, it just makes killing others far easier than it should be.
Absolutely right about Nintendo not marketing to a cohesive demographic. On one hand, the graphics will be significantly better, which will appeal mostly to "hardcore" gamers, but on the other, they have a bulky, expensive controller which is the most un-ergonomic piece of crap I can think of, appealing more to trendy demographics and families seeking a more interactive approach to casual gaming. Considering the recent/. thread regarding the average gamer age being 38 (I personally think it's in the twenties, but the point I'm making is still valid), Nintendo is seriously missing out on the "hardcore" gamer demographic, especially with the fact that even the well-established games with potential such as Zelda cater to preteens with the storyline and level of difficulty of the fighting system and puzzles. Wii U's attempt to appeal to everyone is going to consequently appeal to no one - the family demographic being off-put by the cost resulting from the increased processing and graphics, and the "hardcore" gamers being off-put by the controller.
And if that post itself was not cohesive, my apologies. I'm drunk off my ass.
Half of what you posted as "not allowed" should stay that way, such as sharing knowledge of how to make a bomb. Though, you do have a point on some of those.
So what does said Governor think of the Westboro Baptist Church, which was upheld by the Supreme Court? I swear this country's priorities are so ass backwards.
The only issue I've had with the latest generation of gaming consoles is their longevity. Two 360's, a Wii, and now a PS3 have died within two years, whereas I can still play my N64, PS1, NES, and Gameboy. It's pathetic how much they sacrifice to maintain their profit margin.
No, but it can't be discredited either. Are you saying we should just take Anonymous at their word simply because they deny it? I'm not saying Sony's response or initial security wasn't pathetic, because it was, fact still remains it was *probably* Anonymous, especially when looking at the timeline of events.
Also, Anonymous is more than a well-known public entity. Many are trolls, whiteknights, immature children, and sophisticated hackers. I know, as I'm one of them. Not just a casual 4chan lurker, I mean the Anonymous underground. I don't agree with the hackings, but just because Anonymous officially denies it does not mean their word is to be trusted, or that it wasn't a member doing it independently of the organization.
People need to research more before assuming anything. Sony explicitly stated they found verifiable evidence it was Anonymous, as the files the hacker had left behind said "We are Anonymous. We are legion." How that can be confused for anything else is beyond me.

Sure, and I think people should fly planes into buildings to demonstrate the lack of airport security.
What due process?

...or it could have been Lulzsec or any other organization or individuals. Believe it or not, there are for more hackers out there than just Anon.

to power there economy. Whos confused about why we are losing??
Because some of us don't know the correct usage of "there" and "their"?
Way to avoid addressing the underlying problem.
Don't be an idiot.
But legally, corporations are people! ...God our government is messed up.
Just another story of idiots trying to make easy money by suing a corporation.
