I have been contracting (and paying my own health care) since 1992. Under ACA my medical dropped $500/month to $1800/month (for two healthy adults). I also think the feds are irritated w/small contractors, but ACA actually helped me.
"Privately owned" damn sure does not mean "scheduled carrier" either.
The mandatory equipment lists are different for turbine aircraft and they are also different for type of service. If all you know is based on your Mom's Cessna then you need more quality time w/the FAR/AIM.
I call BS - $300K is very rare air. $200K is not common either.
Seriously, how many engineers do you know whose base pay is over $200K/year? I've been working in SV since 1987 and I only know a handful of people like that (although sometimes bonus does significantly shift that number).
My Turbo Arrow needs 13 GPH of sweet leaded fuel. This does not change my point. I look down, many cars. I look around, not so many airplanes. The scale is not even close between cars and aircraft.
I can't believe most people even know what a R22 is, even around KTOA.
Agreed. This is the automatic response (note I didn't say the good or fair response) on the theory your opponent cannot afford a defense and will simply capitulate. Almost no attorney will accept the defense on contingency, you will have to pay up front. Depending upon where you live, probably $20K just to get to "show cause" and more during "discovery" and even more during the "trial". This would be a great time to consider what those pictures are worth to you because law != justice and participation is not optional.
Mod up. I have been contracting since 1992 and a large part of my job is play nice with all sorts of unattractive people. I often wonder how many of them managed to get hired in the first place, but that really does not matter. They were in place when I got here and most likely they will be here when I leave. Smile and cash the checks, or go get a job where you can happily pick fights w/your coworkers.
You are missing the point. Google Play is a key component essential for delivering proprietary Google services such as Maps, Cloud Notification, etc. Only Google blessed platforms have Google Play, and Google can withdraw that support any time they get grumpy.
The world is bigger than "jumbo jets". When the police or medical services come, they are not driving a "jumbo jet" - and yes there are documented cases of of helicopter crews being incapacitated from a laser incident.
Same here (but 10 acres, mostly oat hay). This is more like performance art than farming.

I think they should be spay/neutered.
Time for you to watch "Dark Star"
You had me until "buy French Raphaels"

Assuming your LTE provider not play the same game.
Isolation transformers have existed as long as there has been TEMPEST.
There should be a Google helicopter. Should cure everything.
I work in SF and I am not threatened by the Google Bus. How this was marked "insightful" is beyond me.
Back in the day, the April issue of Byte used to run several parody articles. Funny stuff, I miss it. They quit because too many people took the bait.

So what? Look up, what do you see? Empty sky. Look down, what do you see? Cars.
The scale is not even close.

Google maps will not work without Google Play
"pride, integrity, or a sense of honor" - that is just adorable. I am not my job, and I hope you are also more than your job.
People call me because they have a problem and that solution typically needs multiple approaches.
Picking fights w/the staff is an easy way to ensure active sabotage. So yes, I try to find a way to get along and be effective.
Not quite the same as "don't give a shit" - but have it your way.

Or is Isle Royale far away from Frostbite Falls?
Google "helicopter laser pointer" - first item to pop up

Is this good enough for you? There are others...

Here is a better idea: "don't distract the pilot"
I think it should be more sporting. I think I should get to shoot back.
I do not wear sunglasses when landing at night.
I think you could say the same about kids playing with matches.
