Thats exactly the problem. You are comparing apples and oranges. A scientific theory is one based on the scientific method and not just some wild opinion. The theory you speak of, is anything anyone wants to pull out of their ***. Would you want equal time given to my opinion that the earth is the center of the universe or the scientific theory (yes its a scientific theory) that the planets revolve around the sun?

I was really just trying to get a cheap shot in on CMM. The perception I have is CMM, in its most commonly used form, is documentation for documentation sake. This always reminds me of a Chirs Farley movie and a line about putting a gaurentee on a dump in a box..........

From my understanding of Napster, this is marketers taking advantage of how the system works and the IM portion is part of the Napster client and not a separate piece of software. Therefore, there is no way to opt in or out. The marketers are out there searching for "music" and seeing who has that music on their hard drive. Once they see you have the music they IM you through Napster to advertise at you. It seems like Marketers can do this whether or not Napster says anything or you want to opt out.

Thats an exelent point but it raises the question: How do you construct a resume that shows an ability to learn? One might argue that there is a responsibility on the part of the job seaker to make sure their skills are up to date. That would show that the job seeker CAN learn new skills and also has the drive TO learn new skills. Once the seaker has done their part you can put all the applicable TLA's on your resume and be prepared for an interview.

Fully agree with you that the argument is off base but take it as true. Are the new "ruling" class going to suddenly loose it when they hit 31 and find that the 18 year olds following up are taking over, doubtful. Even if the young of today are taking this power they will want to keep it as they become the grey hairs. Given this, who cares how many 18 year olds are turning of age. The power, if it has changed hands, has already done so and the new leaders are not going to be willing to give it up.
