    Do you?

I've searched and searched, and could never find an explanation for why these are refered to as organic.

One article I found briefly mentioned bioluminescent life forms and how they are very efficient at producing light, but didn't say anything about what that has to do with OLED displays. And a PDF I found about the subject talked about the process of synthesizing the electroluminescent materials used. Sorry, I don't have the links to these.

But if they are synthesized, doesn't that mean that they are NOT organic?

And what does electroluminescence have to do with bioluminescence.

What I've always wondered is why the orbits of objects as parts of galaxies, solar systems, or even planet/moon systems pretty much share a common plane. And then, even the rotation of the bodies themselves also line up for the most part.

Why don't they all rotate and orbit in any direction they want?

Does gravity just even this all out over time when the objects pass near each other?

Other than sharing two letters in their names, what makes you think there is any similarity?

In NYC, I can't go out for the day without seeing at least ten people with iPods. If I walk into a subway and look around, there is almost always at least one person wearing Apple's white earbuds. Sometimes, when it's crowded, there are three or four people in one car. I actually find it slightly embarassing pulling out my iPod (I don't use the white headphones) and getting looks of aknowledgement from those guys.

I certainly didn't see that many people with Pogs in their hands when they were popular.

Sure, when Apple stops selling them or they or someone else comes out with something much better, people will move on, but it's not like they're just going to get tired of using them.

It was one of the first flight sim games that had things like [relatively] realistic physics, damage (tear off a wing by hitting a building or bend your landing gear by hitting the ground too hard), wind effects, passing day/night, lens flares for the sun, stars at night, airfield lights, plane shadows, visible weapons (bombs, rockets, etc.), multiplayer modes (maybe only in the sequel), particle-based smoke trails, a mission planner/editor, 3D cockpit with controls you could work with the mouse, and probably a few things I can't think of right now.

And that's not to mention, the coolest plane ever!

A-10 Attack never came out for the PC, but the sequel (A-10 Cuba) did.

This is advertising. The companies that you need to sign up with pay for it. The free iPods guys are getting their money either way, and the only reason they'd have to ask for the stuff back would be if those companies asked for theirs back.

But that would be like Nokia asking for their money back for the TV ads they bought because people didn't buy or keep their N-Gages.

I know several people who got free iPods by signing up for the offers involved and then cancelling. If they paid anything at all, it was certainly a lot less than the cost of the iPod.

I guess if this company is making money, then not everyone bothers to get out of the offers they sign up for, but even they aren't getting ripped off.

BTW, there have been a few sites that set up referal pools, where people basically just got together and refered each other with the people in the pool.
