I remember reading the agreement for using an Oracle 10g client a few years back, and one section was that you can't have been born, or be a resident in a list of countries, which included Iran.
Needless to say, my friend (who was born in Iran and held dual citizenship) just installed and ran it anyway.
This is such a laughably bad decision, I can't see it making its way into the final product.
I even tried to type this post in all-caps, but/. reminded me that it was wrong. When it comes to something people have known and taken for granted for years, it seems very odd that Microsoft would go backwards and decide on this. Exactly where is the leadership for this project?
I don't think I've ever seen a GM ad on Facebook. Looking at their page, they don't update very often, either. At least not compared to other companies with successful advertising campaigns on FB.
If somebody said that books about war should include humanitarian measures, people would cry out against censorship. For whatever reason, games are an easy target for censors and narrow-minded people.
