I've owned a 2000 honda insight http://www.insightcentral.net for almost two years now, and love it. 68 mpg in the mountains of colorado. 700 mile range with a 10 gallon tank. Every day someone asks me about it, they are drawn to it's exotic space pod looks. And the best feature: a total geek chick magnet. How many other cars can you say that about? If you need more seats, go for the prius or the hybrid civic. But either way, enjoy the acceleration, efficiency and regeneration of an EV with the range and simplicity of a gas vehicle. I go so long between fuel ups that I forget which side the gas cap is on.
You will find that full spectum does provide a nice psychologial effect, especially if you are in and out of the sun alot. your eyes gradually adapt to lousy light (like older fluorescents), but the difference can be rather striking. Nothing beats real sunlight though. Full spectrum lighting is essential in locations where you must carry out color-sensitive tasks (retail, hospitals, electronics assembly). But it is also nice in home environments, good for skin tones and fabrics. I suggest newer (Tri-phosphor) fluoresecnt lights, they provide a very broad spectrum and efficient output.
is this just too-late media hype, or is there another variant out there now? I though the origional Code Red was timed to go off last week?
Best Regards,
Nick
Patch IIS with Apache guys!
Acceleration: Similar to a Civic (plain, not an SI)
Top speed 115mpg (I've had mine to 105)
Looks: I start more conversations getting out of this car.
Range: 600 miles between tanks. So long that I forget which side the cap is on.
Recharge: when I brake
Price: ~20k.

Would OSC consider talking to one of the major
Japanese animation firms? (Ghibli, Gainax, etc?)
They have a tradition of insightful, amazing sci-fi with young characters driving the plot.
(Princess Mononoke, Neon Genesis Evangelon, Gundam 0083, and on an on and on).

Good idea, if it had been Amtrack, it would take three extra hours to get out of the station, and
then derail on straight track.

Rio Grande: The Action Road.

Notice how each child (well, their door at least) had a national ID card?
What is disney trying to say now to their audience?
Yeah, I'm paranoid, who told you?

As we enter the information age, encrytpion is showing up in general use by the public for conveying information (money, data, ideas, etc.)
What would the NSA recommend to ordinary citizens when using encryption? Do you feel that encryption supports free speech? The economy?
Thanks,
Nick
