The summary makes it sound like fat clients are a bad thing. The web is not an application platform! HTML5 efforts to the contrary, it's just not designed for it. A well-written fat client will behave well even when the network is down or slow. Most web apps become useless, if not outright unusable.
The mandate could have been structured as a tax with a 100% deduction given to those who have insurance. It's the penalty paid to the government that is a tax, not your insurance premium.
Asimov was writing about physical harm. Moglen is talking about financial or emotional harm (depending on what info is leaked and to whom). There is no practical way to incorporate the First Law to prevent this kind of harm. AI doesn't exist.
On either device, HD needs to be scaled to be full screen. Given that the Transformer only needs to scale (full-HD) in one direction, it would probably look worse.
I suppose the fact that this article is not related to anything you mentioned matters at all to you. It does show everyone who reads your comment that you are an idiot, though.
Only an asshole could think that Apple not making source available is somehow to be taken as a huge negative thing that is morally wrong. Unless Google Play is different, it's quite possible that any GPL'd app is also illegal. Does Google Play include the source for such apps?
My mother isn't too bright in the IT department either, but she's learned how to get new books on to her Kindle. I think you're either lying or your mother is really one of the more stupid people still alive.
I recently (in the past couple weeks) replaced the battery for my 2005 Macbook. Old one wouldn't hold a charge anymore. ~6.5 years on a single battery is pretty good in my book.
You are assuming that all his software is compatible with the latest version. That is often not the case. With Java.

Why would anyone use old crufty ObjC when there's a nice modern runtime and language to use instead?
Oh, I get it... you're stuck in 1995. Hint: NextStep is history!
You are misunderstanding.

...for cleaning porpoises.
I am speechless.

The warm feeling was probably your diaper. I'm not sure about the fuzzy part. Perhaps you've been wearing your diaper too long.
I am assuming you still wear a diaper, because your reading comprehension is equivalent to those who have not yet reached potty-training age.
If you truly don't understand, you are the most stupid of all the stupid people posting on slashdot these days.
The standard screen resolution on a portable is 1366x768.

It is easy and they do provide documentation. I added my server and it took about 10 minutes. Stop being a lazy shit.

There is nothing at all stopping you from
A) Including your own license. Apple's does not apply in this scenario.
B) Including the source for your app and making it available via iTunes.
The sticking point would be the DRM that prevents redistribution of the binary.
Only an asshole could think that Apple not making source available is somehow to be taken as a huge negative thing that is morally wrong. Unless Google Play is different, it's quite possible that any GPL'd app is also illegal. Does Google Play include the source for such apps?
That is a completely bogus argument. When the FSF was founded, you needed a $10,000 Unix workstation to use GCC.
Why the fuck would the W3C care about this feature in a browser?
I hope your brain explodes messily.

It would also be a good idea for you to commit suicide, but I doubt you're going to do that either.
The problem with your proposal is that you falsely equate the web with the Internet.
No.. What's illegal is showing of Junior's bare boner.
It's really odd to you that "MS", an abbreviation that Microsoft itself uses, doesn't get the same attention as M$?
Boy, did you wake up on the wrong side of the smarts bed today.
You are an absolute idiot. An unmitigated disaster in the intelligence department.
Apple has never taken a performance hit when changing architectures. You're a sad little idiot.
What kind of crap games are you playing that don't disable that key for you? Seriously. That key is 17 years old.
The same place it exists in Windows.
