    Voting for the lesser evil never works. Here's why: every candidate's campaign is run entirely on the premise that they must look less evil than their opponents. So, "less evil" only means that you were swayed by their campaign. It says nothing for how evil they are. Additionally, "less evil" in US politics means they would only torture you a little before slitting your throat. Either way you end up tortured and dead.

    US Congressmen have no say in their State's government (that I am aware of, for any State), so blaming them for their State's mismanagement is unfair.

    Now, I happen to feel that "politician" is just another word for mass-murderer, and that none of them deserve a break, unless its to their spine. But you can't blame their State's fiscal problems on them.

    You may be correct that the top 1% of the wealthy won't increase tax revenues by a significant amount, but until someone making twice what I do actually pays the same RATE, never mind the same dollar amount, I believe taxes should be raised.

    It is not fair that those who earn more pay a lower rate. Either there should be one rate, or the rate should increase as income increases. No other option is fair.

    You may be technically correct, but most malware for Windows are not viruses. No OS is secure from Trojans, and that's the category most malware falls into.

    It's not a security flaw because the code to disable it must be running as administrator. Once you have admin credentials, there is no security, by definition.

    How about you get a working mind and then reconsider.

    1) MS already has an AV product, and they've had it for a few years. In terms of resource usage, it's the best available for Windows. It is updated very frequently, and it complains if you haven't updated the definitions in the past week.

    2) The developers working on AV software in general are way better at it than you are. If the current approaches could be scrapped for something better, they would be.

    And how exactly would a white list help?

    That's not how it works. Free Speech is a right, but only idiots claim that means one can take over a private conference hall to make ones self heard. The right only means, as the Constitution states, that Congress shall make no law abridging this right. Similarly, an amendment to make Internet access an inalienable right would simply prevent Congress from taking it away. It would not mean that private enterprise or individuals would be forced to provide access.
