There are between 6 and 7 billion people in the world. How many of them are using an Internet connection that routes through an Iranian-controlled network? This may affect millions, but hardly billions.
Well, there's a reason that Freedom of the Press is included in the first amendment. Remember, the amendment declares that Congress shall make no law forbidding or hindering Free Speech. It does not say that Congress must facilitate it.
You really don't get it, do you? I am posting this from an iPad. I and my wife use our 'pads for browsing, email, gps navigation, reference books, games, note taking, calendar, and address book. Lack of Flash is a minor annoyance, but to claim people don't use their iPads sounds like the wishful thinking of a bigot. Why the iPad instead of a netbook? Convenience. Larger screen. A battery that lasts through a day Netflix (wife was on bed rest until last night due to pregancy). Windows on a small screen sucks and Linux is too painful for me as a desktop.
Assuming that the Australian Post doesn't operate much differently than the USPO, I'd say you have it exactly backwards. The USPO loses billions every year because they have no mail to deliver, not because they have too much of it. It's not as if the Post Office has a base income from which mail delivery costs must be paid. If there's no mail, there's no income.
I suppose that the idea of being able to opt-out never occurred to you. It's much easier to bash a government plan you have scant details of, just because you think it's cool to be anti-establishment.
Do you sit next to your mailbox and wait for the postal carrier each and every single day? I check my physical mailbox once a day, but I check my email several times an hour (slow work days).
I fail to see how the government gets any more power with electronic delivery. They can already claim to have mailed you something even if they haven't, and I've never received registered mail from anyone, much less from a government entity.
A big problem with the US prison system is that it's supposed to be punishment, but the punishment is only beginning. It's practically impossible to get a good job after being in prison. You lose many fundamental rights after being imprisoned. We have the utterly unconstitutional (cruel and unusual punishment) sex-offenders registry.
Once a sentence has been served, the public record should be expunged so employers can't see it on a background check.
MADD is simply mad, but a drunk driver who kills should be treated as a first-degree murderer.
I know that the uncle mentioned above did not harm anyone while driving drunk, but it is a serious problem. When you drive drunk, you are basically showing the world that you don't give a shit about anyone else's life.
Maybe they kept the Mac for 10 years too. Macs last longer in real use than most PCs. And the PCs that last cost the same as a Mac. And this was true 10 years ago as well.
I am sure he has a much better idea of what CyanogenMod is than you have of reading comprehension. Of course, that's damning him with the faintest of praise.
There was always something to steal. Food. Shelter. Women. Even in a place of plenty, it's often easier to let someone else gather the food and then take it from them.
From the sheer paranoia in your second point, I think you've already been infected with something. I hope it's not contagious.
I think I saw that on an episode of CSI:Miami!
Fred.
I can.
A better scenario: Can you think of a situation where you aren't an unmitigated jackass?

You're as much a moron as that quote some other poster has of yours would indicate.
It's not evil to shutdown a company that one owns. Period.

It's OK. Without a nose, you couldn't wear glasses anyway.

If they have no natural enemies, they also likely have no food.
Try doing that on the White House lawn and you'll find out that context is everything.
It would also be awesome (as in amazing, unbelievable) if you would your verbs.
If the contract was from 2003-2004, why the hell did he wait 6-7 years to file suit?
Ceglia appears to be just another deranged attention whore who wants to steal someone else's money.

Wow. You are a paranoid freak.

Ford does the perp-walk when letting contractors go. Not all the time, so I guess it depends on what they were working on.
Two wrongs don't make a right. Most people are taught this when they are around the age of a first-grader.
I suggest you take some remedial courses.

As I can tell from your DAoC post, along with this one, you prefer to have things handed to you on a silver platter.
Too fucking bad.

A "friend" who is offended by you not friending a Facebook profile is not really a friend.
