    It's not illegal for a grocery store to bundle products. It's only illegal for producers who are monopolies. Your first-world sense of entitlement does not define law. Thank God.

    I work with iOS devices for a living. I've dealt with dozens over the past few years. I've seen one that had a problem with the lightning connector, and cleaning it out pretty much fixed it. What problems do people have with it?

    I use wired. They came with the phone. They work. They don't lose charge. I use BT in the car.

    If you never use the product, you'll probably form stupid opinions about it. Slack supports plugins. The command given above for video is available via a plugin, which Slack knows about and gives you a link to install when you invoke the given command.

    (They aren't plugins in the browser-sense, but I don't know what Slack calls them.)

    That statement is false. While decimal number types may have limited precision, they are, in fact, accurate.

    New code is written in Fortran all the time. I guess you don't work in any place doing numerical analysis more complex than Excel. Talk to a Ford engineer some time. I am sure you'd find the same any large auto manufacturer.

    Below $100,000k your foreign earnings are tax-exempt.

    That statement is false. I live in a country with a tax treaty with the US. As an ex-pat, I am required to file taxes with the IRS each year. Because of the treaty, taxes I pay on foreign income are deducted from taxes owed to the IRS. That does not mean my income is tax-exempt. It means I have a deduction.

    (It happens to be that I pay more to my current government than I would have owed the IRS, so I don't pay any US taxes. That's still just a deduction, not an exemption.)

    I guess you're not aware of how tax brackets work. The percentage charged for income at the highest bracket does not define the percentage paid on all income. The GP wrote "effective tax rate" for a reason.

    I think you somehow managed to bolster the GP's point through some weirdly-inverted way. Acronyms are a form of compression to make communication easier. Cutesy acronyms whose long forms are twisted to fit the acronym do not ease communication.
