I lived in Japan for years and loved *most* of it. The reason being is because I not only studied the language, but the culture, history, mythos, etc. You'ld be suprised how many of my anime-fan-friends watch and watch and buy more anime to watch, but I know for a fact that a hefty chunk of the meaning is lost in the lingual and cultural translation.
Could it be that we (American geeks) are moving toward a seperate pigeon-quasi-japaneque society?
Oh yeah, Patlabor is still my favorite series.;]
If a particle of popsicle
that is positivly charged
Meets an anti-popsicle
particle at-large
Will my popsicle proceed
to present sed positive pop
With parabolic postulates
presumably preconcieved?
Or is the prig who
sold the popsicle
Trying to play with
particle physics?
Well, at least this means a 3d app that won't crash. I've tried most of them (apps, I mean) on whatever OS, and inevitably -- hang, crash, here we go again... I was kinda hoping Strata would release a 2.x or 3.0 of StudioPro for OS 9 (hell, I'd be anxious as ***insert proverbial thing here*** if only they said "hey all you users, we're going to release an upgrade once OS X is out"), but ever since C3d bought them, there's been no news. btw DuesEx ala G4 rocks.
They need to release one for old AD&D players that has spots on the sides. Then maybe a ten sided version too. "What do you mean I can't cast magic missle?! I think you need more RAM in your dice."
OS X (ten) IS why I bought the new mac. I've been a mac user for years now, and found that there are very few things PC's do that macs can't. Especially with Virtual PC from Connectix. I just wish I had waited a bit longer (or been more wired with Apple developers) because the new G4 Cube is a beautiful looking thing. Almost *dare I say* as nice as the new VW beetle.
