He put a colon into the Shrek article, which was new. But then, then he put two into one sentence for this article. That has to be a record of some sort.
Let it come. Let the proverbial shackles clasp around the ankles of currently free people. Tyrants can't stand forever; the natural state of man is to be free. If worse comes to worse and the shit hits the fan, people will wake up and revolt. A little revolution once in awhile is good for a society, it's just that, until now, all the revolutions and potential revolutions in the US have happened peacefully.
You seem pretty angry. Maybe I can fix that. First, challenging is different from itentionally confusing. Take a movie like 2001. It was challenging, but it wasn't intentionally confusion.
Second, you talk about original content. While I agree with the nonsense about redoing things like Psycho and Josie and The Pussycats, not all adaptations of a novel are poorly done. Take, again, 2001. It presented an already good novel in a different way, while retaining the ideas presented in that novel. That it what an adaptation of a novel should be like.
And, finally, please, don't talk like everyone in the USA is a moron. I live there, and I know it isn't true.
I have a pentium pro 166Mhz machine I built for a friend. It runs Windows 98, so it came with IE 4. I downloaded the security fixes, and IE 5.5. Upon reboot, the machine would crawl along, unable to even the most basic of functions. I uninstalled IE 5.5, and everything was fine again.
Chalk it up to me watching C-Span every once in awhile, but I believe there are two or three 'independent' repesentatives. Not that that is a number to brag about, but, with the numbers of Republicans and Democrats so close in the house, a few independent votes may or may not decide whatever is beind voted upon.
Actually, the BSOD is themeable. Or, at least, you can change it's colors. IIRC, just add MessageTextColor= and MessageBackColor= lines to config.sys under the [386enh] section. ( At least, for Windows9x/ME ) The valid values are 0-F, but I don't recall what number/letter is what color.
I'm not normally one to complain about such things, but the NWA referred to above *is* the name of a band. When I first saw NWA in the top post for this comment, I thought of that band as well. Flamebait? I don't think so.
I hope it was just the hordes of slashdotters visting that page which caused it to not be available, because I, for one, was interested in the topic. Oh well, I guess I'll have to try again later.

No, games should be fun. That is it.
Wow, was that melodramatic for you enough? Not to mention incoherent. Sorry slashdot.

That's very true. I usually get the best advice for free -- from my friends.
Read more Hawking, especially about space and time lacking boundaries. You'll see him write often that, "...it [the universe] would just BE."
Good thing the USA is a republic, not a democracy, otherwise you'd be right.

Laugh, it's funny.
I found this post to be pretty damn funny. Of course, I'm reading The Hobbit right now. If only I were a moderator.
