    not necessarily, i think there are enough people around not knowing that photo's can be tampered with.

    That's because : YOU'RE doing it WRONG. Good regulation should create a level playing field for as many people and businesses as possible. states and countries should NOT compete with each other, but because businesses have become so large that they have states and countries in a strangehold, businesses can pitch them against each other, which is only good for the upper class/big bucks, not for people and planet.

    accidents : LED's are VERY durable.
    overvoltage : do you live in a third world country ?
    moving out : take them with you

    more efficient : maybe OLED's, and they're not market-ready. And 2 years from now means I allready have my investment + 6$ back.

    I have only CFL's in my house. not one of them has broken since i moved in in june last year. 3 of those i brought with me from my previous house, which i have i used there for nearly 5 years.

    wind CAN: geographic dispersion can completely elliminate that drawback.

    The link you cited shows that the total CO2 footprint cannot be said to be zero.

    indeed. but solar panels, and especially windturbines have a MUCH MUCH better CO2-footprint than nukes. I NEVER EVER EVER EVER ever ever would suggest coal power, nukes are 10 times better than those, but solar and wind is even 10 times better than THOSE.

    Every single argument(*) on that site is an argument for increasing nuclear power generation so we can use nuke's to replace the non-nuke powered steps.

    If I use that same reasonning for wind turbines and solar panels, I can conclude that those deliver completely FREE energy ...
