For instance, take the starcraft/warcraft interface, except make the different buttons programmable. One order might be this: "If enemy unit A shows up, attack. If enemy unit B shows up, run over here. If friendly unit C shows up, advance to point D." You could also give universal orders, that would apply to all units, as long as the have some part in it.
Yeah, that's the problem with Leiberman. But the point was that Rebublicans don't stick with the small govt. concept through thick and thin, so to speak.
What is the deal with the "liberal media" anyway? Where did this concept come from? Seriously, all news is screwed up anyway, now that they try to make a profit.
In Cruisin' USA, the only reason the higher difficulty levels were harder was cheating. There were "civilian" cars that would intentionally ram you, among other things.
:Government sets one standard. restricts all other types. imposes heavy fines.-communist
That's not accually communist. It's evil, but despite what you may have heard, communism does not equal evil. This is basically the original concept of communism: "Rich people own all the factories and ruthlessly exploit the workers. Therefore, the workers will eventually decide to kill all the rich people and run the factories themselves." Granted, it sucks for the rich people, but they're the ones who are being evil.

Like people who think a clone is an exact copy, and not just a delayed twin, and people who think hydrogen is the most common element in the atmosphere, and people who think knowing how far the earth is from the sun is worth a million dollars.
There is a theory which says that if we ever really figure out once and for all how the universe works, it will immediately be replaced by something even more bafflingly complicated. There is another theory which says that this has already happened.

This article makes some valid points. However, the simple fact is that no authority can unfairly hold back the public forever. Information doesn't want to be free, but people do. If corporate intrests continue to hold back democracy, someday, they will truly cross the line, and the people will be pissed. With a capital P. And then there will be a revolution, whether by protest marches, or boycotts, or blood. Ultimately, the people have the real power.
:America will go Red when they pry my gun from my cold, dead fingers.
Whether that statement is reasonable or not depends on what exactly "Red" means. Karl Marx's communism hasn't ever accually happened. The "communist" counties that exist today are really dictatorships, and any differences are basically cosmetic. There's nothing wrong with actual communism.
:It can't just magically transform everything into copies of itself. Only the few structures that are suitable for the task.
Don't underestimate that threat. While it wouldn't threathten the survival of humanity, it could still be a huge disaster, especially if it eats, say, silicon chips. *shudder*
You know, it really anoys me how consistently society refuses to give kids some credit. Come on now, they aren't THAT stupid. If kids should be looking the other way, why shouldn't adults? Many people would respond "because they aren't mature enough to handle it", well, there are plenty of immature adults.

IIRC, NASA sterilizes their probes for exactly that reason.

:The RIAA doesn't want money.
Of course they do. They may be after the distribution channels, but that's still only to make more money. That's just how a company works.
So your theory is that a kid can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy? I don't know about you, but I could.
So, your assuming that because someone is more receptive than average to change in government and society, they are a binge drinker?
Total Logical Disconnect:
Example: "I like pasta because my house is made of bricks!"
Or rather, spoken like true flamebait.

I'd call Reagan a charismatic leader.

Yeah, well, there will always be idiots.
:Why can't someone write a "cute" removing virus?
That would be a Good Thing, but there are far more travesties of cuteness than "My" everything. And I'm not just talking about Barney. *shudder*
