    Swapping to RAMDisk? What's the point?
    If that RAM wasn't used by the RAMdisk, you wouldn't have to swap!

    So, you're putting an extra load on the memory manager and the filesystem to move programs around in your RAM instead of leaving them in place. Nonsense.

    Maybe the average woman tend to drive worse than the average man (this is still to be proven), they cause less car crashes, because they don't drive like crazy.
    They cost less to the insurance company, so the insurance price is lower for them.

    Yes, but you sometimes have an active wait, where the cpu will just run through a series of NOP, just to wait for a very short time (say, a few ns or s).

    Without computers, you won't have electricity, water, gas, phone, and most factories will just shut down. In fact, we will be back to the 18th century, except we will have more knowledge (but most of our knowledge is stored in computers).

    I use:
    find . -exec grep string {} \; -ls
    I even made an alias name rgrep (recursive grep) for it because I use it all the time to search in source soce.

    Unfortunately, some sites cannot be accessed by IP (Because of virtual hosts or something AFAIR). For instance you cannot browse to goase.cx by IP (Hey, look! I managed to put a gaotse link without trolling!)
    What you can try then is to replace some letters with their hex codes : use %61 to get an "a" for instance...
    Of course, if it's block at the IP number level, it won't work.
    Other idea : Someone should make a public web anonymizer that would mangle (reverse, rot-13, whatever random) the domainname...
