That's not really French. It's Babel-french. Even shit and bullshit remained in English...
If you understood French, you would see that most sentence make no sense.
BTW, I'm French, but I do my best to post in correct English here (Yes, I know my spelling and grammar are not perfect, but at least I've tried).
The epoch is Jan 1st, 1970 at 00:00:00.
With 32 bits, you can have
4294967296 seconds if unsigned : thats 49710 days, 6 hours, 28 mintes and 16 seconds. On Feb 7, 2106 at 06:28:16, you'll go back to Jan 1, 1970 at 00:00:00.
2147483648 seconds if signed : thats 24855 days, 3 hours, 14 minutes and 8 seconds. On Jan 19, 2038 at 03:14:08, you'll go before the epoch and everithing can happen.
The color comes from the finish, not from the technology used. So if it's blue, it does not much more than if if was yellow or pink or with a Nathalie Portaman picture on it.
Look at the letters and numbers on the core.
I think our (Yes, I'm French) government has achived one of the most stupid laws ever. I guess it won't be long before someone attacks the law as it goes against EEC regulations (can you spell protectionism?). It has been decided to please the commercial interests of the cinema industry: The DVD zones are not backed up by the law, they're just a technical limitation the consortium aggred upon to maximize their profits.
Now the consummers are all abusing than the broken-by-design limitation, so they've been lobying to have this stupid law passed, and our Minsitry of Culture put down its pants and told them to do as they want.
You see only one light at night, so you can't tell which one is on if you can't see the color.
I've always thought the lights should have different shapes: Why not have a red square, yellow triangle and green disc? It would be so much user friendly to the color-blind.
There was a discussion telling that this anti-CFC campaign was just some lobbying from the chemical industry: CFC's can be produced for cheap anywhere (like in 3rd world) and they wanted to sell more profitable replacements for it.
If it's true, it's sad.
Didn't you know already? C++ itself was a hoax. Sun just had a little more humour and made Java even worse, running it on a virtual machine, adding garbage collecting, and designing the miserable Javascript language.
You don't need to give huge salaries to keep your employees. Give them the industry standard, or a just little more. But above all, make sure they like working for you.
Could the moderators send me some of the stuff the smoke, please.
Then "imagineer_bob" just replies "I agree" and gets a (2, Interesting). And then "Coward, Anonymous" says roughly the same as me and gets (3, Informative) instead of (-1, Redundant).
I am not happy at all.
Do the idiot moderators realize they are just pushing users into becoming Trolls with this kind of behavior?
JBuilder runs on Linux too.

Not, it's Jean Consommateur
Jacques = Jack
Jean = Joe
Xbox, SideWinder, IntelliMouse : are those software?
Read Dilbert to understand. This may enlighten you on others aspects of work and life, too...
They claimed no remote root hacks.
It is not exactly the same as no root hacks, is it?

Great! Now, where can I buy a cheap 3D screen?

Imagine encoding the Emacs binary with MPEG-4 and then decode it - would most assuredly NOT run.
Maybe the resulting program would be vi?

If you want to recycle parts, why not just heat the parts to just past the melting point of solder, then suck the parts off the boards?
Because some components are glued in addition to being soldered. This is just the subject of the article : They invented a glue that melts too.

Nope. The tiny resistors (I think they're called SMC) and some other components are actually glued to the mobo before the soldering is done.
