A normal tourisit or business traveler will pretty much ignore it and pass it off as yet another delay in boarding and nothing else. Others may display visable sweating, nervousness, etc and that is the indicator. A trained operator will look for the proper indicators. The fact the item is searchable and listed on the web as a real working bomb detector is a bonus. The recent exposure of the true nature greatly reduces it's effectiveness. Some still use it because they know many subjects are not positive if it works or not resulting in the response indicators they are looking for.

I question my eligibility, write with a fake first name, no last name, and a bait email account with a free US DID phone number. They can email me, text me, call me, etc, while I continue to find out the name of the deceased before I fill out their form to file a claim. (the form is used to make a deceased you could be related to) By not filling it out and probing for the name of the ceceased first, you make them waste time trying to get your info first so the lawyer, barrister, etc can be hired..

Waste their time, if you have the time to waste on them. You can get free resources. A free email accout, a free VOIP SIP account, and a free DID phone number is a good start to make a fake persona.

    Never send them any money.

It is easier to set up network printers in Ubuntu. It's easier to get Jack and synths working in Mint. Sorry Ubuntu Studio, you crash Jack on my hardware. Both run Audacity fine. Mint has trouble running RoseGarden. Installed it but can't find it in the menu.

Not everything works OK on Windows without tweaks either, so the above minor issues are not a showstopper. It runs my aps without flooding the desktop with ads and trialware, the biggest timewasters in Windows. Windows is clogged to death out of the box.

Use a USB thumb drive and want to eject it.. It's on the desktop. Right click, Eject or safely remove..
Want to power down.. There are easy options.. Use the menu or hit the power button and choose hibernate, reboot, logout, power off.

You should not need Google to know how to eject a thumb drive, connect a printer, or power down the computer.

I won't list what all works better. I'm posting on Slashdot, not writing a full review.

For the campers, sometimes out is about 95% of the time.

I do have a flatscreen in the motorhome. It doubles as a backup camera screen when traveling, GPS screen, TV, Wii screen, and larger laptop screen.

I have a WiMax modem, but it is out of range in any location that is not city. I like the no contract BYOD (Bring your own Device) service. A used Goodwill modem and if in a service area, pay for a month. If not, no expense for service you can't reach.
