    I do use Firefox. I feel that that Google intentionally (and arguably illegally) tries to undermine Firefox by various stratagems. For the most part, successfully.

It's just that the real lives of Facebook users suck even more, so they stick around every day gobbling the poop because at least it tastes better than pile of shit that serves as a miserable excuse for a life.     So many otherwise intelligent people fail to understand the meaning of monopoly market power. This does not mean total control of a market, it means controllilng enough of it to, for example, force terms on customers that would not necessarily be acceptable in the presence of real, credible competition. There's more, but please start with this basic fact.

    And when you try to use a tablet as a laptop replacement, it sucks, because for example the keyboard and mouse support is just wrong. There is no valid reason for this. A large number of powerpoint-based engineering decision makers need to burn in hell.

    Make that 14,999,999,999 users. Because I, for one, am swearing off Youtube forever, because of the intolerable level of advertising now inflicted on me. Not only is the advertising far too frequent, it is consistently irrelevant and tasteless. Also delivered at a volume level consistently higher than the average video. (I thought that was a trick used only by sleazebag crap radio operators.) There are several superior alternatives, including Vimeo, which more often than not has the video I am looking for these days, and without abusive/evil region restrictions.

    The "don't be evil" left the Google building long ago.

    While the battery servicing is an issue not one of my colleagues has ever had a battery issue.

    Because maybe they don't own their phones long enough? I have replaced the battery on every phone I have owned, with the exception of those ancient candybars (that lasted 8 days on a charge)

    There is a serious amount of complacency within Microsoft if they think that product rollouts like this are acceptable and won't a) confuse and b) anger their customers.

    I don't see anything wrong with confusing/angering Windows shee... err, sorry, customers. After all, they created this monster. I can only conclude that they enjoy getting it continuously up the back door. Sort of like right to suicide... no problem if you don't hurt anyone else while you're doing it.
