    Ah, I'd forgotten about the reboots the windows installer requires, yes, that is really annoying, and linux does all in one sweep.

    I don't use any of Microsoft's software, but they do make some decent hardware. I bought a USB sidewinder gamepad on sale from RadioShack which works flawlessly under linux and I have an optical mouse from them... However all 4 of my computers only have linux on them.

    DVDs use the UDF filesystem, linux reads them fine.

    No, the bots have a protocal flag on that used to be reserved. Increasing warning levels is also handled server side, but it's up to the client to do anything about the warnings.

    Try it, if you block one of these bots, it can still message you. You also can't use the oh so useless 'warn' function on them. They seem to have an arangement with AOL.

    Flash crashes 95% of the time on my remote X term too. Had to disable it so mozilla wouldn't be taken out be every flash ad.

    What I ment was, you could change the experation date if you knew what you were doing, 2099 was an arbitrary example that I gave little thought to. You're right of course.

    Ick, that is bad. I still use thier driveer because it works well, and can do mouse shadow, but that license is pretty bad. Also, I thought that they gave you binary librarys to link to gether with some source code even in thier source packages, am I wrong here?

    Heh, I have one. It's got an onboard 25Mhz CPU, and is flash upgradable to new standards. It also does a damn good job of holding a connection. I've picked up a phone on it's line and shouted, and it manages to stay on. (drops packets for a few seconds of course)

    Well, I donn't know about that, it depends on where you live. In my town you can get cited for snoring to loudly. (seriously, it's happend.)
