  1. People need this why? on Moxi Digital's Future Convergence Box Announced · · Score: 1

" I read about that! It looked very interesting!
Supposedly you're supposed to be able to hook up all rooms in your house with one machine, for almost no money at all! Oh, yeah and it's a gateway/router/firewall too! Pretty neat thought! I read it on The Register [theregister.co.uk] last night :)"

Every time I look at something like this on slashot I really think of why it's necessary. I like the versatility of having individual divices to meet individual needs.

or maybe you lie about your ability to actually speak Japanese let alone write it? Just a thought

With events like these wanting to revise the works of others is what scholarship outside of scientific fields does.

"I'm not commenting on JonKatz's articles until we get a valid explanation of the "infamous" email from Kabul [slashdot.org]. I no longer trust Katz's opinions until he can prove to us that he wasn't pulling that article out of his rear."

Who really gives a shit. The Afghans have *the* worst government you can possibly have. I don't really give a damn.

Furthermore It dosn't matter. Honestly do you really think that there are many people in Afghanistan proper that actually in any way, shape, or form have the kind of ubiquituous internet access that we have. Most likely all you get is the opinions of the elite anyway.

Let me guess you are some armchair critic who acts like an idiot.

And yes this is largely to get off steam after reading shit from you idiots who like to bash him because he isn't a loser like you. You who most likely aren't good for anything more than being a code monkey.

"'d suggest no one replying to his articles until he has proven that he just isn't just producing garbage he is making up (or until he admits that some 1337 H4X0R sent him and email and he thought it was real)."

Let me get this straight. Are you actually saying you want to endanger someone's life under a theocracy or a group of feuding warlords where revenge killing is the order of the day?

Here's a hint genius maybe Katz was being a *professional* (you know when you smile and say "You want freis with that" at you job. Kind of like that except with more intelligence).

    He's protecting someone's life.

    Not get a fucking clue.
