Please, PLEASE, PLEAASSSEE...do not just teach him the sciences...as a child prodigy (former, i'm a proud college adult now!), i have to say, the biggest mistake my parents ever made was limiting me to sciences, math and computers. If this kid is a child prodigy, he'll stay a child prodigy. QUIT..get him a guitar teacher, teach him how to appreciate art. Teach him about history. When he's in high school and college, if this kid is a child prodigy, he'll be old enough to know how to learn that stuff all by himself. But he'll NEVER know how to learn about the arts and how to socialize. Thats something thats overlooked way too often. Let him learn how to construct an OS later, for now, get someone to teach him what he'll never be able to learn once he gets so technologically tunnel-visioned.
also, if you really want to develop this child's mind, make sure he knows whats going on in the newspaper. it sounds silly, but it'll teach him about the world...you'll never be able to do that.
i propose to patent this idea of i've been working on. I call it, The Internet! it will be a method of mass communication expanding the limits of anyone's imagination! On it, we will be able to store text of ideas and images. Scientists will be able to share ideas on this "internet". i will merely take a small cut for all the "ideas" passed over my internet!...shoot, didn't al gore think of this....those democrats...so smart!!!
wait, i have a better idea...i will patent bandwidth. With my invention, I will allow retailers to "sell" things on my "bandwidth" and in exchange, when buyers "buy" things (over my same bandwidth of course), i will take a small percentage of the sale.
...double shoot....at&t....rats...
ok, i got it!...ureeka!...i call it, insta-freeze!!! much like a microwave, just...the reverse...you put a warm soda in the insta-freeze and INSTAntly, it gets cold!!!!...i propose to do this using a special high pressure vacuum!..the vacuum will bring the molecules to a standstill removing all kinetic energy, while the high pressure keeps the soda from boiling!!!...
