    Tolerance and acceptance are not the same. You can dislike something or someone, be tolerant of it/them, yet not truly be accepting of it/them.

    There is truly no such thing as personal property anyway.... particularly real estate. Fail to pay property tax and you'll be out on the street same as if you fail to pay rent. They may call it something different, but it is the same in effect and result: don't pay your rent, out you go.

    Many of them out there when interviewed seem to have forgotten that it's better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Because it seems to me that many they have interviewed are complete morons.

    The increase in fuel efficiency is offset by an increase in automobiles in use. No need to change anything.

    What you have said is true. On the other hand, this latest nomination brings the award renewed credibility.

    They gave it to the head of a terrorist organization: Yassir Arafat...... they have no credibility, and will never gain any until they revoke his.

    If only we could do the same type things in other ways to people from other countries. I'd love to put up "no foriegner" signs in a few places like in Japan for example.

    The company I manage installs them sometimes. Most of them tend to suck....costing $150 or $1500...most all tend to suck.

    Yes, they're into it for the cash. They have a vested interest in encouraging clients to patent stupid things because they then get the opportunity to charge them tons more cash for defending that patent. At least that's how I see it when I try to look into it from their point of view. i guess they are true paragons of virtue when you look at it that way.

    Yup. Many of those complaining probably never have
    worked *really* hard jobs. I've worked shrimp boats, pulled oyster tongs, worked on oil platforms, played army, been a paramedic, worked
    on under ground teams putting in fiber optic cable, and a few other jobs. I have *no* complaints now, working in the IT industry and being able to telecommute. Its like heaven even if I do put in 80 hour weeks at times.
