    I got one too from soe.innovyx.net. I assume they got my email address from the account hack and are sending out phish emails.

    Aha, ok that makes sense. I had to look up exactly how pi is calculated with a computer to understand this. Makes perfect sense that the last part of the decimal is not necessarily accurate, but as you drill down further and further you will get more precise results.

    What the hell does that mean? There is no "end" do pi. And if there is some disagreements on some of the digits, then one of the computers obviously did not perform flawlessly.

    I had the same problem. Did you click on the site, then go back to get the block link?

    You can also explicitly block domains if you log into a google account and go to settings.

    Lets look at "average speed". Today air and high-speed train travel is more accessible to more people than in any point in history. We even have tourists in space (or at least on sub-orbital flights). So I would say the collective speed of the human race has only gone up.

    With more efficiency, we can get even more people up in the air and moving fast.

    Age of speed is just starting. Look at the digital network speeds compared to 5 or 10 years ago. Concorde is not fast enough, when I can conference around the world instantly. SR-71? Mach 3+ is not fast enough when an satellite can take a picture and beam it down in realtime.

    Going to the Moon? Ok, well you got me on that one.

    The DRM horror stories have chased me away from the Dragon Age series. Instead I went to GOG.com and bought the full Baldur's Gate II collection. I own it on a bunch of cds (somewhere); but for 10 bucks I get the classic gameplay with no DRM, not even a cd check, and online download and installation.
