"why is it that when the ipod discussions occur, its lack of features is considered a plus? When we discuss BBs, all of a sudden they aren't feature filled enough. Odd and inconsistent."
Two different people arguing two different positions in two different discussions are not inconsistent. You are not debating a hive mind.
I like the design of my iPod, and I like the versatility of my Treo. I have few, if any, stability issues, and I have a number of apps that Make My Life Easier, none of which are available on Blackberry.
And if I used a Blackberry, I'd have to find an Exchange server to install the server software on, and I'd rather nail my tongue to my desk.
Well, golly. I guess you're right. He's the sweetest darn guy on the planet, and he was just kidding when he was spreading rumors about John McCain's illegitimate black baby. And those Swift Boat guys...they just spontaneously coalesced out of nowhere, and raised money by having bake sales.
Hmm....I wonder if the development efforts drivers that will be used to reboot into Windows will improve the performance of the virtualization systems?
I understand that elected officials only need to APPEAR to be acting in the interests of the voters. I'm saying that UNelected officials need not even maintain that veneer.
What makes you think that they'd ever place the nation's interests ahead of their own, in the inevitable cases where they are not compatible?
At least representative governments are theoretically accountable for their actions. (Yes, in practice, I know this is rarely the case, but I think that LESS representativeness is not the correct option.)
Chrysler used to own Lamborghini. VW/Audi DOES build your Bugatti (and, nowadays, your Lamborghini), and Aston is a subsidiary of Ford.
Alienware makes stupid looking computers (with the PC analogs of neon green wings and big stupid body kits) just like Dell. (same machines, less stupid neon)
Ask Senator McCain how he feels about Mr. Rove's tactics. And Valerie Plame & co.
"Convicted"? It doesn't have to be illegal to be morally reprehensible.
So, "left winger" is defined as "anybody who thinks Karl Rove is despicable"?
Kay.
The guy is fucking Darth Vader. I am astonished at his political acumen...and his utter lack of integrity. This guy works for the party who alleges to command the moral high ground? This guy thinks "family values" are "how much can I get for my granny at auction?"
You're telling me that the Lords infallibly divine what is in the best interest of the Kingdom, and do that, instead of serving their own interests, which may or may not be in the best interest of the Kingdom?
Whahuh?
If that's even remotely true, I want some of those kind of politicians. Maybe we can put 'em in a zoo somewhere, because those are some endagered species bein' motherfuckers.
Holy crap! You mean my important-to-my-sense-of-self jingoistic xenophobia is not well substantiated by events that happen on planet Earth?
My world view! It's disintegrating!
(do I need a sarcasm tag?)
Right, because Boeing was the first organization in history to learn from the (fatal) mistakes of others.
If you look like a clumsy retard answering the phone, and you don't have an N-Gage tacophone, it's not the phone.
Why don't you just subscribe to an iCal holiday list, and sync that?

The fact that you assume that I'm a democrat is proof-positive that your world view is broken.

Thanks for setting me straight.
Right, because F1 cars are just like the ones you can buy at the car store.
Hmm....I wonder if the development efforts drivers that will be used to reboot into Windows will improve the performance of the virtualization systems?
What a shocking notion.
Yeah. Not following you here. Guess I'm all, like, thinking for myself or something. Call me crazy.
No, not really. Why?
Fair enough.
Of course, unless you happen to be one of the aforementioned Lords, they're not really asking your opinion, are they?

Apple wasn't the brand you associate with cool gadgets, until they started making cool gadgets.
The dell DJ was not, in any way, a cool gadget.
No, but I still know it's there...
You're joking, right?

Oh wait, maybe it is a match made in heaven...
Thank you, Mr. Stupid Car-Computer Acronym Clarifying Guy! *hoists beer*
Uh huh. Just like US Supreme Court justices are assumed to be impartial. We'll see how that works out.

Hold on, WHAT? Am I crazy?

Impartial? Nonsense. They're only accountable to their own interests.
If you're OK with that, fine. (I think you're loony.) But don't try to call them "impartial".
I'm pretty sure he meant what he said. You're trying to hijack an allusion.
No, I mean "Will stoop to absolutely anything to achieve his goals".
I'd have exactly the same problems with the guy if he agreed with me politically, and used the same tactics to achieve his agenda.
But thanks for the integrity check, Skippy!
"hate-filled partisan fantasy"
Hmmm....and who is the modern-day incarnation of this idea?
Just because people troll him doesn't mean that Karl Rove doesn't have the blackest of black hearts...
