A lot of countries would have done far better without the loans that are given to their dictators, who buy tanks to oppress their people, to do in the mean time americas biddings. (More or less how the world bank worked for years). Then after they finaly got rid of their dictator, which flees to a country to live a rich life with the money that he stole and deposited in the foreign banks (luckely nobody wanted sadam) The world bank starts requesting a payback of their loaned money.
Please explain why any of those loans should be paid back.??
A lot of money the US is "giving" is to buy support for their point of view. (like if you vote in favor for kyoto, you will get no money or reduced medicine payment to fight aids.)
In europe we call something like that extorsion.
Anyway if you don't want to help others and have a lot of problems yourself. FINE. Please leave the rest of the world alone and solve your own problems first, we will understand.
If you would travel and explore the world you would see a lot of countries doing far better. And i am not only refering to european countries.
So if you see this, in my point of view this only shows how broken the american capitalistic system is. As was the communistic system. So please do not export it, it is rotten.
If you think other countries are not helping each other (without conditions, free as in beer), you are way wrong. I live in south amerika and here there are a lot of good schooling or other projects. But all these projects are supported by eithers japanes or europeans.
anyway, I hope i will see a better america in the future, but i definatly hope the current version go down like the USSR did.

Then about the repayment done in europe. The americans did it for their own good, they were not interested in the people, they wanted an economie to trade with. With a ruined europe there would have been no trade. They also wanted to have a strong europe and japan against the comunists.

Then the UN, Yes amerika has a big bill there, I am not sure, but as far as i know some years ago their membership was alomsot suspended because they had the biggest unpaid check. I don't know the current situation, but it would not surprise me if the payments you are refering to are late payments from years before.
So if you buy all th facts you wrote , research again. There are other countries in the world, some of them even are so advance they have a free press. Some even in englisch

At that time we were working on a module in a power plant and saw all the shifts coming in and out and then the third shift was wandering why we where there already, Funny we never left. They controlled the powerplant and were only allowed to work 6 hours straigth, we fixed there controlling software:)
I think it is easy possible to do even above 100 a week and be very productive, it is just a matter of arrangiung your things good. Now I have my office at home (no travel time), lead a team of 5 people, jump in for the difficult parts when they need my help and in the mean time take the workload of some 3 "normal" code freaks. And they are good too. The only thing is you can't keep up to this level for a long time, at some moments you will start getting problems going to sleep or even to relax. If you ever can't sleep anymore and you see shimmering lights when the ligths are off from all the things you are working on and to,long behind the screen, please take my advise take a break for some days if possible some weeks. you will be more productive afterwards.
The reason of cicilisation is being unemployed. So we can all do what we like to do.
I read this somewhere, and must say it has some truth As more and more is automised, we getting more and more time off for other things. It is just a matter of what we call progress.
Depends but, Well i would only use them for simple tasks that need atomisity. Like autocounters. All other application specific datacode should reside in the busines layer. Or in the mapping layer if possible. It is the same as not putting busines logic in the GUI. There are exceptions, but you should think otwice trice or four times before using stored porcedures.
As a lot of laguages have more words then others there is a very interesting case with the chinees
As logic was first addressed in Greece by some philosopher the concept of the "if then" and logical math was created. The chineese didn't make this leap and they have real problem describing logical structures. I don't know if there is any chinees speaking person that can confirm my story.
At least as far as it is true it definatly would have had a big impact at the basis of programming languages.
