A tad aggresive? It is still difficult to find what the timings of these and sequencing gives best results without knowing the structure of the pipeline.
Just beacuse it pisses M$ off does not mean its a good idea. Mozilla might be very nice but I dont think a web browser should be the basis of all applications. After all isnt that what Windows did? I hate using machines with web mode desktop on.
A friend called me o month ago when he make him self a new computer and there was a horrible plastic burning smell. I picked off his heatsink to fing he didnt take the sticky protection of the top of the silicon. It was too late to scrape it off so I just let it burn away by running it without a heatsing for a while and the smell went. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS!!! Dont cry when your cpu has popped.
The ChangeLog seems to have added UDMA in version 1.1 and later updated in 1.7. Try searching for UDMA Ultra-ATA ATA33/66/100 because DMA doesnt allways show up.
These results are quite old. The SGI MIPS based machines seem to be much faster. 512 processor Origin 3000 quoated as 716 GB/sec. I have no idea why they are using Itanics for this but its not because they are better processors.
I was on the impression that gravity was instant. Imagine two balls spinning around eachother in space. each ball sees the other one a bit in the past. They will get faster and faster as they see eachother infront of themselves. Sortof surfing eachothers gravitational field.
The CFX-9850G is one I use all te time. The batteries last for years even thoug they are rechargeable. It has a nice BASIC like programming language, a serial port for communicating with a pc or other calcs. And there are millions of programs available on the intraweb to try out.
I had a project that implemented a MIPS R3000 with everything you needed to run an OS. I even got gcc to compile code. I nearly made a fixed point MP3 player (MAD) to run on it but I run out of time. I found MAD a little complex to walk throuhg and convet each function so it can run without an OS. I might have a go with this OGG player and make a fully open source digital music player.
I have been getting a lot of spam lately on an address I only give out to my friends. They all seem to keep it in their hotmail and yahoo address books. Is that the spam leak?
I am a engineer and at my University I wrote a graphical debugger to control some ARM boards we made. The problem came when we told other universities that we had this product if they wanted them then they can have them for free. Only then did I realise that engineers have no clue about software. They all use Windows because its too scary to step into unix. Even though most of the important CAD tools are only available for Sun they stay clear of them. Its about time engineers moved back to unix.
Why dont you try working for one of the many research groups at universities around the place. If you have some experience in research stuff then groups are quite keen to take on a few temporary people to share their knowledge. When I went on a confrence to France a few weeks ago I was asking around and I was told that several groups would be intrested in me going and working with them for a few months. That sort of experience will allow you to show your emplyer that you are not going to run away because of the culture etc.

I wonder if intel will stick their finger out and put some optimisations into gcc or linux for their MMX extentions.
Its not that they're the enemys tactics its that the results were bad anyway. I really hate the htmlness of windows. Its a pain.

The place this he hets his parts from they come with a little Athlon sticker over the sillicon and the chip somes in a nice plastic box.
It was on a network

I have seen linux on an O2 R5000.

SGI make loads of 64 processor machines. And I believe Linux runs fine on multprocessor MIPS 14000s.

Or am I just wrong?

Here is how I used a mouse to power an ARM based CPU. I cant see it taking a whole human to power a PC.
Maybe they should use lower power chips?

What is a hz?
I was told it was something like a hezla
You cant beat these thinkpad keyboards.
GHz is the correct.
One of the got it right.
It was only a few ours that I heard intel were releasing a errrmm.. 2.8GHz chip
Experience in C, C++, x86 Assembler, Cg, Render Monkey, Will work for peanuts.

For the love of god lease stop!
PS/2 is NOT Playstation 2.
Its an old IBM computer range.
The best thing was it came with linux software on CD.
