Having a passport is not the "social contract". Indeed "passports" are a relatively new, 20th century concept. The contract I'm talking about goes back more than a thousand years to the feudal system and probably several thousand years before that. Very little has changed since then.
Not really, no. Your social contract gets signed by someone else the minute you are born. Ultimately it's based on the coercive power of the State and its ability to do violence to you. On the other hand it is willing to do violence to others on your behalf. That is the other side of the contract.
How can you be so full of shit and so sure of yourself both at the same time, unless you believe the complete and utter tripe you come out with? You mean to say something like, "the UN report on the persecution of non-Muslims in Iran made for shocking reading - but that's OK, there's a token Jew and a token Christian in Parliament".
Around 20% of voters in Israel are Arabs, yes. I think as far as Hamas is concerned, the only good Jew in Gaza is a dead Jew. So you see right there the "asymmetry" of the situation. This is notwithstanding the fact that Hamas kill plenty of Muslims - mostly any who oppose the regime. When they overthrew Fatah in Gaza they threw Mohammed Sweirki off of the top of its tallest building (15 floors).
Who wouldn't want to bomb the shit out of a regime like that?
You know I think this is kind-of bollocks. It seems reasonable to me to assume that at times of environmental stress, an individual baby will survive or not depending on its genes. Therefore more babies with this "thrifty" phenotype will survive than those without, the thrifty phenotype having been constructed from genes already present in mother and father, and effectively randomly selected.
So when a researcher arrives to study the genes, if he's a complete fucking moron, he will assume that somehow the environment changed the genes of the egg or sperm and that this was passed down to the offspring. This is all notwithstanding that there are dozens or hundreds of mutations in the long chain of mitosis involved in creating another Human being.
^ There we have it ladies and gentlemen. This is the logical consequence of socialised healthcare.
Anonymous Coward would rather we all die lying in our own urine at an arthritic 96 after having spent 40 years of pension contributions, than in our mid-60's from a smoking related disease. He's willing to pay for the former, but not the latter!
No they aren't. There's nothing stopping a single entity mining all of the damned coins, or even a majority of them. It's simply a question of how many tflops you've got (with Bitcoin). So just how "de-centralised" is it in the first place?
There is a difference. The Capitalist CEO acquires his wealth by making and selling things, or providing a service to other people, or managing an organisation that does this. If people don't like his product or service, he doesn't make any money.
Whereas a Marxist CEO makes his wealth by conning gullible pricks into donating money to him so he can flounce around the world in a fucking Boeing (made by capitalists, please note) telling other people not to fly and suggesting that one solution to all of the worlds ills is for the people who made his Boeing and all of the hundreds of thousands of other companies that made the parts of his Boeing, to start growing fucking turnips instead.
And if he can't achieve that, he'd quite like much higher taxes on "the little people" to persuade them that he's right.
Sweeping statements... let me think, it was all over the newspapers and in the news that this sanctimonious little prick was flying to and from work several hundred miles away.
Yes, Greenpeace want to prevent you from making certain choices, like driving a car (it's OK to drive a car if you're doing important work trying to stop other people driving cars, obviously), having children or eating efficiently produced food.
Why are you even curious about it? It's because "big charity" and Greenpeace particularly, don't give a flying fuck about the environment. They're Marxists and like good Marxists they've implemented a good Marxist model internally with their CEO getting paid a thick wedge of cash and flying to work. What they want is to carry on their pissy little lives promoting policies to prevent you from doing the same.
The CEO of Greenpeace is on my list of people to punch.
It's simply a question of it going from where there was at least some regulation to where this is precious little to none. It's what happens when you over-regulate.
I'm not a mathematician or a physicist, just a bemused observer. I would assert (probably naively), that Leibniz principle of sufficient reason implies the existence of at least one infinity (the existence of time, assuming time is real of course) and if not that then I would at least assert that the idea everything that exists can be modelled mathematically might be a fallacy and that mathematics more closely matches the workings of the Human mind than it does the nature of reality. That is to say, that even after all of the forces, fields, particle and laws of physics have been enumerated and described, there will still something left to explain.
15 years ago Germany embraced fiscal austerity, cut labour costs and embraced structural reforms. It isn't a "socialist society" unless by that you mean to suggest that the State levies taxes and spends those taxes on social programmes. Well, that's an extremely weak definition of "socialism" by any standard. Indeed so weak as to be absurd.
Peer Review does not guarantee correctness. It just means that one group of academics has either prevented another group from publishing, or managed to get their own group's paper published.
Secondly, these kinds of study are subject to The Decline Effect, where the original spittle and salivation over the result soon turns to bemusement as it fails replication 25 years later.
Yes they do and if it wasn't for Germany and Germany economic strength, they'd be up a creek without a paddle. Some say they're up said creek now as unlike Germany they stubbornly refuse to reform their labour laws. Right now they have 10% unemployment and over 22% youth unemployment.
That is our real task as National Socialists. We were the first to recognize the connections, and the first to begin the struggle. Because we are socialists we have felt the deepest blessings of the nation, and because we are nationalists we want to promote socialist justice in a new Germany.
Nazism is socialism with nationalism thrown in for free. The only reason the Nazis didn't nationalise everything was because in the 1930's when they were having their "days of strudel", the Nazi Party managed to bank millions of Reichsmarks from big business. Goebbels was in favour of destroying the corporates once they'd won power, but Hitler overruled him precisely because of these financial connections.
Really, the clue is in the name, "National Socialism".
I couldn't care less whether you're insulted or not. I've read so much BS on this and other issues related to Putin I'm sick of it. The only reason the West gives him the time of day is because they fear an even bigger loon taking charge there. And whilst you complain that it's disrespectful to the relatives of those who died, Putins thugs rummage through the wreckage, dump the bodies on a train, run off with the black boxes and get rid of any incriminating evidence. If it wasn't them I expect they'd be scrupulous in preserving the crash scene.
Don't tell me you're being "Mr Reasonable" here. You're just another one of Putin's useful idiots.

What's the point? You will argue black is white regardless and this is the internet so I'll get my swearing in early, thank you.

What is wrong with your fucking brain Richard?
A token Jew and a token Christian. How progressive!

Muff Divers are at higher risk of throat cancer. Ban Muff Diving, yes.

The word "Marxism" means quite a lot to the founder of Greenpeace.

No he's right you complete fucking cretin. Perhaps you need to BOTHER TO CHECK before you comment about things you don't fucking understand.

That's about as far as my brain can take me.
"cis"? "cis"? What? You mean "male" or "female" not fucking "cisgender" you complete prick.
Give me fucking strength.
Men NEVER say die, you fucking cunt! to other men, ever.

No it isn't. It's completely fucking obvious who shot the plane down.
