That, and, sometimes I also set the Windows theme to "classic." :)

I spend days with Windows Classic on at work, coupled with the 90's Grunge/Alternative Genre station on Pandora: my nostalgia is unstoppable.

I love how satire is only satire when a peer (presumably that you like) makes it. Coming from a subordinate, it seems that the powers that be consitently react the same way. I found myself at least trying to sympathize with the school for their actions (two sides to every story and all that), until I read, "Gavin Russell, prime minister of the student government, gathered scores of signatures on a petition supporting Mr. Christie before two staff members warned him that, if he continued, he could also face punishment." What kind of message are sending to your students?

I consider it a success because its harder to find up to date material freely available for expert-level subject matter. This is going to be a huge help to alot of people, I think. There's plenty of material on entry level science, math, etc. Good that you can can continue your self-education with more advanced material.

I should probably be used to reading stories like this by now. But the fact that I should be terrifies me all over again. I wonder when its my turn to get a barrel pressed against my head for the greater good of society.
