I'm not sure it's greedy to seek actual damages; It's chilling that you say that greed motivates them. Dylan and Eric didn't seem to value human life at all, you seem to think that a life has no monetary value. Obviously, life has value beyond the monetary, but that is irretrievable. Wrongful death lawsuits help insure that the survivor's mortgage gets paid, kids can go to college, plans can be carried out.
I doubt they'll win any money from the video game companies, but I don't think greed is the motivating factor of anyone.

I think you need to look up treason in the dictionary, your definition is clearly wrong. Congress and the Supreme Court attempt to undermine the authority of the Executive branch all of the time.

There's a certain irony to your Username, which means Rule by God. Are you a communist? The Soviets basically believed the same thing that the "average Joe" had no business determining how the country was run. You seem to espouse this world-view with statements like "The people have no say in the matter." Does theonomy imply that the world is best run by God, and that humans should just sit on their hands?
Let's be honest, God has a lousy track record, among his first creations, was Satan. Do you want some guy who can't figure out he's creating the most evil being ever running the show. If I held stock in his company, he wouldn't get my vote for CEO.

Maybe that's why we have free-will, maybe Satan wasn't a blunder, maybe God doesn't want to rule the world, he just wants to see what happens.

Which raises the question, are you Satan?

Please, I beg you, take your medication.
Is this what you are trying to say?
    God has laws
Breaking God's laws leads to damnation
Being gay is against God's law
Therefore being gay leads to damnation

I am aware of only ten commandments, none of these say it is wrong to be gay. I'll agree that these commandments are not all of God's law, if you'll agree that in enumarating these commandments God is indicating that they are the most important of his laws.

There is no commandment 'Thou shall not be gay.' Given this, wouldn't it make more sense to target groups of people who are violating God's 10 most important laws. Wouldn't it make more sense to focus on the Hindu agenda, or the Muslim agenda, or the Buddhist agenda? All of those people are facing "ceratain" damnation, and, unlike gays, are recruiting other people to face "certain" damnation.

If you believe in God, which I am led to doubt, you would be moving for intolerance of the commandment breakers first, and gays second. It disgusts me when a godless commie red wolf like yourself sneaks into the Shepherd's flock wearing the sheepskin of false morallity.

Here's what Dictionary.com has to say about the subject.

Usage Note: The words ironic, irony, and ironically are sometimes used of events and circumstances that might better be described as simply "coincidental" or "improbable," in that they suggest no particular lessons about human vanity or folly. Thus 78 percent of the Usage Panel rejects the use of ironically in the sentence In 1969 Susie moved from Ithaca to California where she met her husband-to-be, who, ironically, also came from upstate New York (though some Panelists noted that this particular usage might be acceptable if Susie had in fact moved to California in order to find a husband, in which case the story could be taken as exemplifying the folly of supposing that we can know what fate has in store for us). By contrast, 73 percent accepted the sentence Ironically, even as the government was fulminating against American policy, American jeans and videocassettes were the hottest items in the stalls of the market, where the incongruity can be seen as an example of human inconsistency.

I'm not sure what your point is, but if it was to show that any of the things in Alanis Morrisette's song were ironic, you have failed.

Ironic doesn't mean unfortunate. It means unexpected. It's unfortunate to have rain on a wedding day, not ironic. It would be ironic if someone from the the Pacific NorthWest had their wedding in Death Valley to avoid the rain, and were greeted with a rare downpour, while back at home where they would have had the wedding, the skies are clear. That's f!cking ironic.

1996 was a bad year for language, does anyone remember Jon Tesh's commentary about the women's gymnastics competition? It inspired a little song that goes something like this...

    Bela Karoli, behind the gate
Watched Nadia and Mary-Lou do great
So when Keri Strugg won the Gold
It hearkened back to days of old
    and 'aint it histrionic?
