I say let them do it. All that refusing to sell xboxes in australia is going to do is increase sales of the PS2. We already know that the PS2 (and even the gamecube) are much better consoles than the xbox. Besides, the XBox controllers are like cancer for the hand.
It sort of reminds me of the other night when attempting to download the new HL update from fileplanet. All 300 download slots were filled and 6,800 some odd users were waiting in line. The estimated wait read 700+ minutes.
Hey, I'm colorblind and a webmaster. I made a site in only grayscale (except for some the images) simply because I couldn't decided on a color scheme. I think that the webmaster wasn't colorblind but possibly insane?
I havent played around with Daphnie yet but I have played the Dragons Lair DVD (It took me hours to beat it.) and found it to be of superb quality. The only problem with playing games like that on a DVD players is using the remote.
I believe what they are saying is that If the record companies would sell there product in a digital matter (whatever format, as long as it is widely supported) and for a cheaper price, they would buy more music.
PS - Anyone remember what band it was (It was a rap band. Thats all I remember.) that released their album only on zip disk a few years ago?
Its amazing at how the level of technology grows in such a short amount of time. New breakthroughs in technology allow people to do projects faster and faster. The one real important question is . . . did the people from Boycott pick up an Advance system from the first stock or did they just come up with the system on there own with the knowledge they have?
The thing with color calibration is that it is really only for professionals. I recently worked with my previous work on color calibrating their photo studio. Color Callibration is a big bag of trouble in the least. If you really want X to be color calibrated I suggest you have a professional do it. A good person to speak to is Eddie Tapp. Eddie Tapp is with the Professional Photographers of America and is the nations renowned expert in color calibration and digital imaging. Take a look at his resume (and once you see companies like epson and cannon) and you will see what I am talking about.
IRC Security and whats really needed.

What IRC really needs is not a new, secure, indipendant server; it needs its existing servers to crack down on "packet-junkies" and channel takeovers. I watched as a teen-ager on his daddy's computer take over a channel that I was in with ease because of EFnet's lack of security. EFnet, Undernet, and the like need to really crack down on stupid 14 year old kids with a cable modem that decide to use their fathers large amount of bandwith to ride a netsplit down the throat of a channel.
(Not to mention they should really do something about netsplits. there just damned annoying.)

I saw this several days ago and was rather curious as to how they got the lego men to bend the way they did.
