    Just no. The arguments for gay marriage can transfer to polygamous marriage, sure. I don't really have a problem with that. But how in the hell do you extend that to marriage of objects?

    What? Every major release of software is going to be less stable than a mature and well maintained previous release due to new features and the scale of changes being made. It is unavoidable. Over time the bugs will be less frequently encountered and found and it too will become stable.

    That does make a virus. To be defined as a virus, the software only requires the ability to copy itself and infect a computer. A virus has typically always required the user to run it at least once. If that isn't a virus then 95% of "viruses" for windows are not viruses either.

    Worms are the type of mal-ware that do not require the operator to execute and are capable of transmitting and infecting on their own.

    In England, the Flynn effect began to slow in the 80's. In the 90's IQ's had reached their peak. In the last decade, without adjustment, the real average IQ there has fallen by about 2%.

    Completely wrong. Have you ever driven a manual truck? I have never seen one with a "hand brake", they have the push in emergency brake on the floor and a release under the dash where you have to take your eyes off the road to reach. My Dodge Dakota and my parents Chevy 1500 are that way as well as the handful of other trucks I have driven.

    You do realize that the citation you yourself provide discredits your own assertion?

    The Flynn effect has ended in most of western Europe and is slowing in other developing nations. It may be to soon to tell, but the empirical evidence shows that intelligence is slowly falling in some of those nations as well.

    linux has a small amount of malware too. Just because its safer than windows does not mean its perfectly safe and you never have to even think about security.

    It did not take 20 minutes to find a lawyer. Tens of thousands of people were ripped off by the insurance companies. My family spent days just trying to get a phone call through to a lawyers office. Every single lawyer they managed to get ahold of for weeks was simply booked. By the time a lawyer was willing to actually take they case several months later, my family had run out of money just trying to survive and the bank had repossessed the houses. The lawyer advised them that we no longer had a case because we no longer owned the property, it was up to the bank to sort things out.

    I don't care how implausible you find it. Its not a lie. Fuck off and die.

    Since when was the Atom the first low power device? ARM was earlier, uses less power and has much better performance/watt.

    I most certainly was there. I never saw any of what you describe. My family lost two fully insured homes, neither ever got paid for.
