Dam right I want to live in a world where I don't need to check with a lawyer or politician before I fart. Or use an OS even. Oh I forgot most politicians ARE lawyers. HMMM
Even a difficult as this sounds to do the Russians might just be able to do it. They have produced some very pure materials of other types. They are very good at it. It usually doesn't cost them millions of dollars to do this type of stuff either.
With the republican control of the U.S. senate and house Carl Rove doesn't think it has a rats ass of passing again. Well Carl Rove will be wrong and I am already pissed about it. Guess what I am a one issue voter. Any gun good enough for the "goverment" to be able to own ought to be available to me.
Fuck Bush and fuck all the gutless liberal democrats who are running for president. Oh yea Fuck Carl Rove. I helped elect Bush I'll help un-elect his worthless Texas ass. Oh yea "I'm the NRA"
VB: So what's the thinking, then, behind the legal activity?
McBride: I understand why people are upset. And I understand why people are asking, 'Those SCO guys, what are they doing now?' But I would turn the question around to them and ask the question: 'What would you do if you were in our shoes?' What would you do if you had turned three independent programming teams loose on the question of 'Is our UnixWare inside of Linux?' and all three of those groups came back independently and said yes.
Well they are going to have to be cheaper than what is being offered now. I have had 4 cell phones and I have turned everyone off because of PRICE. SMS with some Cell providers is like a buck a message here in the US many don't even offer it. If the US providers want my Cell Phone biz they have to drop price. It would be great if they would loose Qualcom and use the stuff Europe has. Qualcom has a death grip on The Celular service in the USA. Service suffers greatly for it.
"This document, originally proposed as a draft brief of amicus curiae, has been endorsed as an OSI position paper by OSI's Board of Directors. The Board has concluded on advice of counsel that OSI cannot seek amicus status in advance of pleadings. The option to seek amicus status at a future time remains open."

The SEC is looking for some stock manipulating CEOs and Corp offices to share a room with a view with Billy Buttreamer. That is another option of what might happen too.
Smart Lawyers? You mean those smart trial lawyers that are running the US economy into the ground with suits like this and flakes like the SF lawyer the Oreo suit? Lawyers put their pants one leg at a time and are just as flawed in their thought processes as anyone else. The influence on the world of all these hell spawn is corrosive. Good thing IBM has intelligent ones however lawyers are all fucked up bottom feeders IMHO. I think a LACK of smart legal advice is driving this. One thing is for sure the only ones who will walk away with any economic benefit is lawyers in this whole episode. Everyone else looses.
You have to be careful with rabids. You can't let them get to close to each other. If they get to close they will breed well, like rabids. Pretty soon you are up to your ears in them. Oh! My bad. Rabids eh. I thought you meant rabbits. Well they are pretty close.

Really Santa Cruz needs to crack down on this bandit operation.

Fuck I would settle for a CURRENT info page.

"In the business world, you do not want to piss off you *entire customer base* like this! "
Why not? Phone companies do it everyday. It's looks like a thriving corperate model.
