Here's an idea. Start out the video with a useless narrative for the first thirty seconds "blah blah blah skip until:30 and ignore this intro blah blah" then start the music. That way everybody is happy. All google employees are too elitist to read slashdot, right?
Please go away and do not spread ANYTHING in the world, thank you.
Yes, but then you would not be able to eat at *our* McDonalds. Or smoke *our* fine cigarettes. And you would have to stop pirating all of our movies. The price is just to steep for you.
Folks, this is what many of us voted for and this is the conclusion of the EFF;
Again, the gulf between Candidate Obama and President Obama is striking. As a candidate, Obama ran promising a new era of government transparency and accountability, an end to the Bush DOJ's radical theories of executive power, and reform of the PATRIOT Act. But, this week, Obama's own Department Of Justice has argued that, under the PATRIOT Act, the government shall be entirely unaccountable for surveilling Americans in violation of its own laws.
This isn't change we can believe in. This is change for the worse.
I suggest that the google programmers bring up a small dialogue when they filter which may help;
We here at google have decided to filter some images that you were about to view. We do this in recognition that some things cannot be "unseen". This is one of those times. This is not about hot porn which does not usually sting the brain with lasting effect. These images will gross you out so bad that no amount of unicorns dancing under rainbows will help. Trust us. Sending these images along will violate our mission statement of not doing evil. Regards, google.
If you RTPT (read the poor translation) they are laying off some employees and putting the ones that are left to work on a different electronic device (it didn't say what) that has been under development. They will continue to sell the freerunner and that they eventually want to return to mobile phone development. They hope that independent developers will continue to work on the phone in the meantime.
If the computer can detect and spin up a cdrom drive, what's wrong with doing the same thing for a floppy? This would be a great feature to add to Linux. Yes, everything is moving away from floppies, but there is a *ton* of legacy systems that still require a floppy for one reason or another.
Actually most property taxes goes to pay for schools to educate children. Nobody believes in socialism until it is possible to get someone else to pay for your own bills.
Currently the world's most powerful operating particle accelerator
And that means the most powerful non-operating particle accelerator is in my basement. I have a nonworking zed-pm, the one in Switzerland doesn't. The one Switzerland cracked their magnet. My magnet is fine. The one in Switzerland has massive problems with cooling, mine doesn't as it operates at room temperature.
if you had to google chirality
You know, it's when you open the door for ladies.
What if the aliens are ambidextrous?
That may not be the case as it may be too computationally intensive to process the whole five minute video that is uploaded.

I am going to patent the air that the radio waves travel through. That way they will owe me money.
Will you be able to obtain warranty service at 9,573 years from now?
It also warms the heart knowing that the mother was able to take the college money and use it on herself.
Dude, we've been to the moon already. We're trying to get to Mars now.
Maybe a lip piercing could get us to the nearest star system even.

Tyranny we can believe in.
Cable and dsl no matter how fantastic is still a dirt road compared to 100 Mb/s coming from fiber.
All it would take is the right cables to be cut for the internet to go down. Perhaps with a rented backhoe even.

Parent is not flamebait as the Huffington Post actively works to censor comments it doesn't like and then outright bans the user.
So yes, the Huffington Post does appear to be be a shill site and this attempt at investigative journalism should not be taken seriously.
It's time to switch to a DVORAK keyboard. Let them sniff that.
My very favorite moment of the recent Battlestar Galactica finale was when Adama said "frakk this" and walked out of the polygraph test.
It was Bob Cylon that did it all. Even though BSG is gone now, at least we still have Bob to explain things.
Unplug the microwave in the break room.

That it escaped all the zombies from back then. Dinosaur zombies.
Will it blend?
