> I mean, my TV, stereo receiver, speakers, DVD player, DVD movies, CD player, video game console and car stereo all have SONY stamped on them. Yet I don't see people freaking out about that.
That's because there is more than just Sony in the consumer product marketplace. Silly git.
Ok, so the IETF comes up with a standard for multimedia messaging. Then some wanker comes along, thinks he knows better, picks arbitrary port numbers out of the blue and then writes a fork'd up messaging protocol and application (ICQ being a good example here). Now you have an ugly network application that becomes popular and has security holes. IMO, this is the issue that needs to be addressed first...
You should check out the SGI 1600SW. Same resolution (1600x1024) in a smaller form factor (17.3") - and the pixels don't look so blocky and chunky. Unfortunately, SGI discontinued this fine piece of equipment...
Ahem: "Shit Happens". That is the only grand unified theory of the universe that you need to know. ;)
Bullroar. WMP 6.4 doesn't even have an option to turn it off under NT 4.0

That's "previous excretions..." lad.

How truly stupid. About $5 worth of coax would do the same thing.

It's all spin by CEOs and analysts on CNN/MSNBC trying to 'jump start' the economy.
Unfortunately, people are not required to have a truck license for SUVs and minivans...
