Yes, the default rendering engine is gecko. But for capatibility many many people and even entire companies will set netscape to be IE only. That is if they use Netscape at all.
Yes, but he also has the name;random@domain where each random part is unique to the sender, and can be blocked easily forever. Meaning spammer gets one set of messages through, then its useless forever. Such an easy to block system has its advantages even without CAPTCHA. You just have to make sure that you never give out the easy to remember one to none trusted individuals.
Yes, but he is also creating a distrubuted computing system for advancing AI. Meaning every spammer in the world will be working together to figure out this problem, ultimatly advancing our state of AI pattern recognition. Sarah Conner surrenders.
probably because its stored not as text but as a number, thus would you rather store it as a floating point, or as a really large whole number and throw away the decimal.. I thought so.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that blake rewrote XUL or anything, was trying to state that firefox is more than just a trimmed down version of mozilla that anybody could have made.
The guy said he wants it for temporary storage (most likly rendering cache or temporary database tables), something he says he currently uses ramdisk for right now, but is being limited by the 2Gb limit on the motherboard. So no need for backup.
Ok from my googling FlexGrid is a framework that automatically adjust data elements alignment/scrollbars/size etc to fit certain formatting. I've never used it so I have no idea how good it is, but I'm sure there are similar things, in other languages. But to say that a database app is useless without it is just plain silly.
No, because few Mozilla/Firefox users fall for phishing exploits. The big problem is the masses of people who use IE, these are the people who are being targetted and who need the help.
Ok Microsoft really needs to pick up the ball on this one. They need to make an extremly obvious security certificate key information. Such that when you log onto any "secure" website it pops up information about the key authority that can be understood by all. Then they need a expansive advertising campain to tell users to look for these signs when entering confidential information, and not enter such information otherwise.
Of course then you would see popups that look identical to the key information, infact I believe I've seen a fullpage website that implemented this trick before. So any ideas on what can be done outside of a box that sits next to your computer that displays said information.
Yes, but he is right that this programming language screams WinFS. Maybe thats what holding it back, WinFS really is useless unless programs are written to take advantage of it. Personally I wish Microsoft would have built WinFS off a new query language as SQL really needs throwing out but going to hang around simply because its become THE standard. When you are writting entire new systems though, the standards can be changed easier. So the realease of WinFS would be perfect, especially if its backwards compatible to SQL.
But then your effectivly dealing with digital video. So this would be like oldschool computer piracy where you make a floppy and passed it onto a friend. Definatly illigal, but generally not punished unless you did it on a massive scale.
Of course this technology would allow you to continue living heathy nomatter what your age, atleast untill you get some desease or die or an accident. Therfor there would be no need to retire at an exact age. Of course one would want to put away savings while they worked so that theoretically you could work for some years, then retire for a few years, then return to work once you got bored of retirement.
Sorry to bite the bait, but how the hell is misreporting the amount of charges he was guilty of spinning. Its bad reporting yes, but I don't see how this changes the spin in any way whatso ever.
One has to wonder if this program can compare it to other music and score appropriatly. Meaning can it say "Hey this tune fits in well with the current trends, but it sounds way too much like recent hit X, and will be accused as a copy" vs "This has good beat rythem and the ear will like this, sorry but I can't compare to current trends or whatnot".
Yes, but after the third generation of analog copies you have serious degredation. So at max you can pass it to 2 friends and they can pass it to 2 friends and they can pass it to 2 friends. After that your pretty much dead in the water. so thats 1+2+4+8. Not exactly huge numbers here.
But seriously thanks for the honest reply, I've always had the same general feelings. While I understand the dangers of nuclear power myself I've always leaned slightly toward it, simply because its better than the alternatives.
I swear I've read of other games that are comming out that do the exact same thing. So while this may be the first online version, ifs definatly a trend.

I think he means 4000dpi on the actual 80(or whatever it is)mm film, assuming your using film at all.

And completly rewrite the XUL that makes the frontend experience.

Sadly I posted before the +1 funny mod. Guess I shoulda waited. :(

Delivery is fast??!!? WOW this has what to do with the quality of the card?

To help clarify this.
Whenever railroads or sewers are run fiber is generally run along with it.
These fiber lines are often unused, or used in a very minimal capacity.

But you can't reasonably have exponential growth with a VCR copy can you.
Distribution network my friends. Nobody cares if you share it with 2 or 3 people. But if you share it with hundreds or thousands people start to care.
Logic... On slashdot! What?!

So are you pro or anti nuclear power. It just wasn't clear.
