Well as he hit another vehicle at that speed I'm sure the resulting collosion provided evidence that he was going close to that speed. But the blackbox not only confirmed the speed but showed that he didn't hit the break.
Actually MANY studies have shown that the waste from coal (coal has some uranium in it and other radioative materials) is significantly more dangerous than nuclear. The deal is, coal waste gets spread out through the air in small bits and scattered around the ground and water. It has a large environmental price but and one bit of waste won't really hurt you. Nuclear waste is collected and stored in one place and does not get scattered, but that resulting waste being consentrated is more harmful, though constentated coal waste would be much more harmful. All in all its an image problem, if we were just to scatter nuclear waste arond and bury it in small chucks there would be no hazard. But people would freak.
Actually I've seen many figures that say there is atleast that much return on investment. Its just that its an investment many people don't know about, isn't highly advertised, and not everyone wants to bother with.
Actually now that I think about it, Power Plant sized solar energy production is generally done using a mirrors reflecting light to central point super heating something driving turbine method. So basically same thing right, maybe they are practicle but only in larger scale??
I guess the difference is population density. When you live in a wooded area and are drunk you're probably going to hit a tree. As opposed to an urban area where you are probably going to hit someone. Cause in the urban jungle, people just grow like trees man, they are everywhere. Whoa sorry for the sidetrip.
Actually the good thing about this article is they are actually saying they are going to start pricing their new HPCs to compete with the clustors. So they can argue about it all they want but atleast they are also willing to compete.
I'd recommend you set up your own DNS and use network solutions as the backup DNS. Remember that the backup DNS really shouldn't be geographically located near the primary. Even though 9/10 they are on the same network sadly.
Actually there are several viable plans that involve dropping a very thin single line, and then using that to install new lines through small robot climbers. Its more the materials that are the problem and not the access to space.
I always thought that selling license to polute should be priced at the extimated cost of cleaning up the polution. That way you can sell endless amounts of it, and use the money to clean it up, or the company would be smart and clean it up before it left the premises thus saving money.
NA, people will still figure out how to hack the system. But obviously if you crash your car purposfully into someone now you goto jail, and I'm sure if you hack your car and it kills someone you will in the future. Of course the manufactures will only get sued for bugs not goto jail...
I belive directv will let you buy hbo for 12 dollars without buying any other channels, now given you won't get the free installation if you don't buy atleast 33 dollars a month worth of programming for a year, but I didn't see anywhere in my agreement that the 33 dollars couldn't be 3 different pay movie channels. of course you'd have to call and ask, as I really havn't tried this myself.
Yes, but if it was required that Comcast sell it to you ala cart you can bet the cable companies would instantly be saying hey now, you can't require us to unbundle whats being sold to us in bundles. The Congress would have to admend the law to cover the cable stations unbundling their packages as well. I should probably read the proposed law and see if it does just that, if not the cable lobbiest are probably already pushing it, unless they are screaming no too loudly not to stop and discuss the issues.
Actually most could survive on advertising dollars and the ones that couldn't could probably up their cost just a little bit and be more like the pay movie channels which generally give you like 5 channels for 12 dollars so I'm sure you could buy one commerical free specialized travel channel or something for 3-4 dollars.
I remember ordering some stuff from them for the first time in early 1998 and them emailling me UPS tracking info, they may have been doing it prior to 1998 obviously. You may want to ask them?
At $733 for the processor and 200-300 dollors for the motherboard, I really don't think the cost of upgrading the motherboard should really be what you are thinking about, afterall I really wouldn't want to put my $733 processor out of commission, Id rather keep it running as a backup computer or doing some other job. Its not exactly something you throw out and replace.

They did that for realplayer 10 for the PC to, no spyware. Looks like they are changing their tune.

Why don't you make one, but seriously, I bet they won't produce as much power as solar cells for the same area of sunlight.
Hold on wasn't Lindows winning the case in America, it seemed to be loosing it in scandanavian socialist countries if I remember correctly.

Lead codpeice, and tinfoil hat. Hmm if you hook a powerful power source between those you might make a human "lifter"
Damn made me look it up and check, your right, suprised am I. Though suppositivly the really grainy textured breads have a slightly lower index.

Note, it doesn't ask you the question if your answer for number 9 indicated you wouldn't take code.

couldn't you just search google then cross reference its results with the ones in your database?

Wow, I and I thought I was doing bad with my voodoo 3 :)

Believe it or not many online stores are selling it for 733 plus shipping and handling. So you don't have to do this.

But seriously, if you don't have a family to support, does it really matter? Better to be happy.
