No, it works in mozilla too. Its also just a relational link, definatly not breaking standards, and no browser is required to support them either. So please find another example.

Wow, sorry for the grammer. Let me rewrite that. IE itself doesn't handle displaying PNG files on the Mac. The Mac has a very good system for seemless integration of different products. Quicktime displays the PNG files on Mac IE, as it can in Windows, but does it seemlessly. MS Office for example on the Mac can call upon the default image editing program (assuming program is written to specs), which is generally Abode, and can allow you to edit an image extensivly inside Word.

IE itself doesn't handle the PNGs the Mac has a very cross product support. So any program can display PNGs quicktime, and it works seemlessly, unlike quicktime on windows. This is the same reason Office is supperior it can call on third party apps to do a lot of its work for it, and remain seemless.
Well surface area of a sphere is S=(4/3)pi(r^3) so that means pi=S/r^3(3/4) But its the same pi but it you have to modify it with a 4/3 and I'm sure you could expand it another dimension and you'd need a different modifier, don't feel like calculating it right now, but I don't see any reason to think the actual value of pi would ever change.
Yes, at the www.edonkey2000.com site duh. BTW if you read stuff about "flock" its the same thing, thecy changed the name reently, personally I prefer flock.
Yea, thats why in hindsight I added "in the long run" of course in the short run as the game is free people will buy cards to buy the game. But I think they are going to eventually have to make the virtual cards much cheaper once everyone that is going to obtain the game has and many become unwilling to spend as much as they ask for.
Actually the US signed a treaty with Russia way back when that said neither of us can claim land rights on the moon. The rock could be considered part of that, but I doupt it, you didn't have to claim land rights in the old west to get some gold from it, just to keep others from doing the same. Anyways of course this treaty will bite us when china starts claiming rights to all the land on the moon.

Yes, but there is a good chance that they modified the kernel slighly to make it work on the specific hardware. That is what people want, so they can remod it themselves and make it work on any hardware. Now if they were smart they did this through modules that arn't directly parts of the kernel and don't have to be released. But we will see.
Yes, but now they are saying you have to have a complete set before you can trade them in. Which makes it very cost prohibative to do so. And making the price of the online cards very unreasonable.
Yes, and that is the biggest thing that worries me about the possibility of startrek style object creation. If IP continues the way its going, everything will have copyright on it. And we will be screwed. Though honestly no matter what happends such a device will screw up the economy for a while, all matters on how long it takes us to adapt.
And of course they are charging the same and in many cases higher prices (as you can find them in card stores on sale for cheaper often) for the virtual cards. Who in their right mind is going to pay more for a virtual sealed deck than they would a real life one. I don't see it happening. (Well its going to happen, but not in the long run)
Actual quote. What about kiddie porn, offensive content or terrorism?
While most people wish that child pornography and terrorism did not exist, humanity should not be deprived of their freedom to communicate just because of how a very small number of people might use that freedom.
They are not condoning child porn, but admitting that freenet might assist, and saying that yes, its bad. But free speach is more important. Its about the same thing as someone saying yes the internet helps people spread child porn. But are you gonna take down the entire internet because of it?
The chip in PI I know it had only a few pins on it, but are you sure it was only 4? But I guess that would work, really depends, if the entire computer is in the chip, why not. Feed instructions in it, wait for god to come out of it.
At level 2 you have hardware addresses, at level 3 you have IP (or other high level non local network) addresses. Its all about the OSI model. Its basically a switch that can understand IP addresses. They can do level 2 also, level 1 btw is the medium, fiber vs copper vs radio etc

Unix has encypted file systems too, obviously the encrypted part would lead to cause files to only be readable with by the user, and the private key, even if stored on the same computer is only half the key along with a long password. Though if NT does support this by default, and have a good way of handling it I guess that makes it better in some ways. As the standard linux kernel can't handle that by default, but its easy to add on.
Well in Florida you loose your drivers license for a little while for driving away from a pump without paying (hopefully they have to prove intent but I don't know) Just to let you know.

I really don't know windows very well, but I'm sure there is one account (superadmin??) that can change these privilages. Which is basically root. In Unix you don't have to give all your admins root priveleges, in fact you don't have to give any of them root privilages. Just one person needs it incase something breaks, which I'm sure is true in the windows world that you need a superuser in case something major breaks. Everyone else can be given just the priveleges they need.
