Its the things that he doesn't say but implies that are the real sneaky bits. 1) Fair use isn't about making personal backups (I'm talking putting the song on your favorite player not copying for your friend). 2) CEA is self interest, but the RIAA is better than that..
Also he never said that fair use rights "must be respected" he acknowledged they exist. But the RIAA and MPAA have shown disdain in the past for research and other fair use rights when they require breaking encryption to achieve them.
Every once in a while there will be a link on top of the front page that you can click and watch some ads and earn a small subscription (a days worth basically) but its not permanent.
Also it seems that the tax breaks that are provided for offering health insurance seems to have had a negative impact. These extra tax breaks don't mean as much to the smaller employer who simply can't afford to shell out $600+ a month per employee for health insurance, while its a small amount of money for a large employer who can afford to shell out that kind of money, which of course forces prices farther up.
WTF are you smoking? Please explain, yes, if it was thrown downwards with minimal velocity there is a chance the craft might hit it on the next orbit. Though of course that is assuming an exact circular orbit, most orbits spiral around the earth and don't cross the same path twice.
I always thought Calculus courses were simply breaker courses for CS. If you can't cut the logic needed for Calculus you really don't believe in CS anyways. And it does help you refine your logic and problem solving skills as well.
Technically just about every Republican that could be evicted was, meaning in just about every race where there was a viable contestant the Democrat (or Independant) won. Remember only 1/3 of the house is up for reelection every year as well.
These "marriage" amenedments are written to specifically deny any status to any couple, whih is not one man and one woman.
Well about half of them did forbid any type of social contract, while many states only specifically banned "marriage". I noticed one state (I guess it was Virginina) who like you said banned recognition of any union outsize of marriage, which is odd because commonlaw marriages have been around for a long time.
Its purly a monetary decision on their part. And yes lucikly money will eventually force them to become more environmental, but as things go they still have little to no restrictions on personal pollution.
Possibly they are looking as saving time by using open source components. Given though as it sounds like your developing for a niche clientel open sourcing your software isn't going to hurt them in the least bit. Whos going to take their software and modify it for their clientel for free? Noone.
I'd say to original question, feel free to open source I if your in an obscure area its not really going to hurt you, you can still sell your programming and support services. But if there is no good reason besides wanting to incorperate other already freely available open source code I'd say don't bother, its not worth the risk.
Now if your clients are requesting source code for the software you are selling, if its a custom app, thats another question entirly, but most development places are willing to do this.. For a price.
As long as Google is offering a superior service I have no problem. Like all the bars in NOLA who let you carry around drinks and bring other bars drinks in, they arn't worried about the competition just want to offer a superior drink.. Yea.. its like that!:).. Uhh wear am I??
They didn't "find" anything, this was determined by hit rate. If 8000 people make webpages supporting an amendment and 4000 people make pages against it, that amendment will likely pass 2/1
Digital Rights Management, digitally you are restricting the Right of Eve from reading your message even if it passes through her hand.
Of course the common usage of DRM is to encrypt to a key only the player device has that player device Alice then is supposed to read the message to you, but not let you directly access it.
All Crypto is a form of DRM, but no its not primarly the type of DRM that is used.
Yes, but the legalization of abortion in Roe v. Wade was an extenstion to the previous idea of the right to privacy. Essentially pre Roe v. Wade, you could get an abortion but you were required to get a judges consent, and of course tell the judge that you wanted an abortion. Roe v. Wade said that the requirement to tell a judge why you wanted an abortion was an invasion of privacy. Which in many legal eyes isn't "unreasonable" as every other issue in in the matter of privacy such as search warrents, come before a judge. There is huge amounts of legal room to argue the actual constituationality of this. Directly it has little constitutional reasoning, but it hinged on decades of other privacy related precident that did have constitutional muster.
Programming the emotions for each sentence will probably be more costly and time consuming than simply hiring and experiences actor. Same reason they often hire actors to play completly CGI characters becauses the body language and movements that programmers can create will never match.
Comeon, do tell. Are you serious or was this just a troll. Hell the current "conservative" judges in the Supreme Court also had some problems with this. Not enough to knock it out completly, but they are being careful, knowing its not quite right.

Hell littering is still not really a crime in china. The government there has NO interest in environment, even at their own detrement.
Come on, the simplist google would have given you sources.

At first, not a chance. Good chance ToysRus won't force a bundle on you, but if they do it will be minimal.
They have already announced downloadable extra content is a "definate possibility" for Zelda. They will probably charge for it.

Well if you use PGP to sign and encrypt your messages to send you have effectivly used a form of DRM.
But I digress.
Kim jong il says "I want a nuclear power plant"
Good ol GW says "No you can't"
Umm they have a nuclear power plant, we gave them one, and have offered them more in the past.

So what? OSX is based on BSD and does not need GPL compliance.
What he is saying is that in the EU, the caller is also billed for the callees airtime.
Mainly that it being 64-bit they are garunteed its a newer system and that they don't have to support a lot of legacy junk.

I think the real failure of this model is its not considering customers as members most successful co-ops do in some way.
