Other than the last responce the rest of his interview was quite surprisingly well spoken and reasonable. One can only assume that recent disbarment hearings have had an effect on his brashness. I can definatly agree to him that Take-Two should not be marketing towards minors, but in all honestly I can't recall them doing so and would love to see examples of such.

Of course the next step in DRM will be special booths that you have to be strip searched to enter, then and only then will you be allowed to listen to content on DRM protected devices. You will be searched again while leaving the booths. :) Then and only then will DRM work, and damnit someone will find a way around it.

Or how bout this model all music will be free to copy and do with how you please for individuals. Commercial use will still cost, IE you put the music on a TV show or use it to sell something you're going to pay. Concerts will be the major form of income though but all in all you won't see many mega millionare musicians. Musicians will make about as much money as writers, good ones will live well not so good ones will have to find another job.

Whats worse is the fact that a POP3 Client Buffer Overflow on Windows would not be included at all as one doesn't ship with Windows. Linux distros generally ship with thousands of clients and servers while Windows ships with the bare minimum. To do a true security comparion you would have to compare either just kernel exploits with OS exploits, then compare all popular software for windows with all popular software for Linux side by side in a catagory basis (POP3 clients being a catagory)

Agreed, this is why I have the DirecTivo which is only 5 dollars a month. Sadly DirecTV is now offering their own box and rumors are that in 2 years the TiVo boxes won't work anymore, at that time I may go with the new series 3 if I can afford it.

Your kidding yourself right? Have you ever had a TiVo? They are wonderful and their userbase is extremly loyal. With the addition of easy storage expansion and digital cable these are going to sell like hotcakes.

Unfortunatly for TiVo this doesn't nessesarily mean more money as they sell their boxes fo little profit and make the money on subscription fees, meaning existing loyalties won't make them much money. On the other hand existing tivo users might be inclinded to give their tivos to friends and family and possibly pay for a few months of service long enough to get them hooked.

You can turn real money into virtual money and virtual money into real money easily. (with a transaction fee of course). The way SL works it you can buy land from the game maker and you can create your own items and program them as you wish, then sell infinate copies of this item. Its kinda like a MUSH with a real economy if you ever played one.

No because I'm rating milage PER passenger. Meaning in actuallity its getting 1/3 mile per gallon, but its also carrying 300 passengers. if each person drove themselves the same milage they would have to get 100 miles to the gallon to use as much gasoline.
